Senior Director, Marketing & Content Strategy

We’re looking for a Senior Director of Marketing & Content Strategy to lead how our brand shows up everywhere consumers experience it. This role owns the intersection of brand strategy, storytelling, digital marketing, and creative execution, ensuring every touchpoint feels intentional, cohesive, and performance-driven.

You will oversee digital marketing across paid, owned, and earned channels, along with the Creative Services team responsible for developing consumer-facing creative across all platforms. This role is equal parts strategic architect and hands-on leader, translating brand positioning into compelling content and campaigns that drive both connection and results.

This is a highly cross-functional role, partnering closely with Product, eCommerce, Sales, and external agencies to bring our brand to life at scale.

Lead Brand Storytelling & Content Strategy

  • Own the expression of brand strategy and positioning across all consumer-facing touchpoints, ensuring consistency, clarity, and emotional resonance
  • Translate the strategy into actionable creative direction that teams can execute against
  • Define and lead the overarching content and storytelling strategy across channels, formats, and campaigns

Lead Digital Marketing Strategy

  • Own the end-to-end digital marketing strategy across paid, owned, and earned channels, ensuring brand storytelling and performance work together seamlessly
  • Lead the development of fully integrated marketing campaigns from concept through execution, aligning brand strategy, content, creative, and media.
  • Build and scale a creator-led marketing approach, including influencer partnerships and ambassador programs that drive authentic storytelling, reach, and conversion
  • Ensure digital and social ecosystems are cohesive, on-brand, and purpose-built for how consumers actually engage
  • Partner closely with performance and channel leaders to balance brand-building storytelling with measurable business outcomes
  • Use insights and performance data to inform creative direction, optimize channel mix, and evolve campaign strategies over time
  • Serve as the connective tissue between brand strategy and execution, ensuring ideas translate into consistent, high-quality consumer experiences across every touchpoint

Lead Creative Services

  • Directly manage the Creative Services team responsible for creative development across all consumer touchpoints, including digital, retail, and eCommerce
  • Set creative standards, processes, and ways of working that enable both speed and excellence
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing creative culture rooted in strong briefs, clear feedback, and shared accountability

Partner Cross-Functionally

  • Work closely with Product, eCommerce, and Sales to ensure storytelling supports business priorities
  • Manage agencies and identify when to outsource
  • Influence senior stakeholders with clear rationale, insights, and creative conviction

Measure & Evolve

  • Establish KPIs and success metrics for content, creative, and digital programs
  • Use performance data and consumer insights to continuously refine storytelling and channel strategies
  • Balance qualitative brand health with quantitative performance outcomes

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with demonstrated senior-level ownership.
  • Proven experience leading digital marketing across paid, owned, and earned channels
  • Strong background in brand storytelling, content strategy, and creative leadership
  • Experience managing and developing, marketing and creative teams and agency partners
  • Demonstrated experience building, scaling, and leading creator and ambassador programs as a core part of a marketing strategy
  • Ability to translate high-level brand strategy into compelling, executable creative
  • Comfortable operating at both the strategic and executional level
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills
  • Consumer-centric mindset with a sharp eye for creative quality and consistency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
