WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Senior Specialist, Influencer, PR & Events is the executional owner of Made By Mary’s external brand visibility engine — responsible for influencer partnerships, ShopMy affiliate growth, earned media support, and experiential activations.
Reporting into the VP of Marketing, this role brings VP of Marketing external awareness strategy to life through hands-on relationship building, creator programming, gifting initiatives, PR coordination, and high-impact events that deepen community connection and expand reach beyond organic social.
This is a relationship-driven role that cannot be outsourced, and will be central to building sustained brand momentum through creators, press, partnerships, and real-world moments.
CORE OWNERSHIP:
Executes External Brand Awareness Strategy under VP of Marketing
- This role is accountable for:
- Building and nurturing Made By Mary’s creator + affiliate network
- Managing ShopMy as a scalable advocacy and revenue channel
- Driving gifting, seeding, and influencer activations tied to launches
- Supporting earned media + PR initiatives through agency coordination
- Executing events and pop-ups as brand excitement + awareness moments
Key Responsibilities
Influencer + ShopMy Affiliate Engine
- Execute influencer outreach, relationship-building, and partnership management across aligned creator categories (lifestyle, motherhood, gifting, faith, fashion).
- Own Made By Mary’s presence on ShopMy, including affiliate recruitment, onboarding, commission management, creator performance tracking, and optimization.
- Manage intentional creator gifting and seeding programs for product drops, evergreen collections, and campaign moments.
- Maintain strong creator systems, databases, product preferences, and outreach workflows.
- Track KPIs including reach, engagement, affiliate revenue, EMV, and ROI, reporting insights to VP of Marketing monthly.
PR Coordination + Earned Media Support
- Serve as day-to-day partner to Made By Mary’s PR agency (Alyssa / Gal Media), supporting outreach, press opportunities, and storytelling moments.
- Coordinate press gifting, brand materials, and campaign narratives in partnership with Creative.
- Support earned media wins that increase credibility, trust, and brand visibility.
- Events, Pop-Ups & Activations
- Execute in-person events including launch gatherings, pop-ups, and community activations that create “newness” and excitement beyond digital launches.
- Support partnership activations (ex: Nordstrom popup potential) and collaborative brand moments.
- Ensure events generate both community depth and high-value social storytelling content.
- Manage logistics, outreach, partnerships, and activation planning under RH’s guidance.
UGC + Content Amplification
- Build and manage a pipeline of UGC creators and micro-influencers producing authentic content for organic and paid usage.
- Collaborate with Content Producer + Social Operator to ensure creator content is repurposed across channels.
- Use AI-enabled tools to catalog, tag, and evaluate UGC performance for ongoing optimization.
Reporting + Operational Excellence
- Deliver weekly updates and monthly reporting across influencer, affiliate, PR, and event initiatives.
- Own budget tracking for creator gifting, affiliate commissions, event spend, and partnership investments.
- Maintain operational clarity so external brand awareness efforts remain consistent, measurable, and repeatable.
WHO YOU ARE:
- A relationship-first marketer with strong operational follow-through.
- Deeply fluent in creator ecosystems, affiliate models, and community-driven brand growth.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable executing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excited by the intersection of digital partnerships and real-world brand experiences.
- Passionate about building Made By Mary’s visibility beyond algorithm-dependent channels.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 3–6 years experience in influencer marketing, PR, affiliate partnerships, or brand activations
- Familiarity with ShopMy or similar affiliate platforms preferred
- Proven ability to manage creator relationships and measurable partnership outcomes
- Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration ability
WHO YOU ARE:
- 2–5 years experience creating digital content for lifestyle, fashion, beauty, or DTC brands.
- Proven ability to produce TikTok/Reels-first content that drives engagement and conversion.
- Strong editing instincts and visual storytelling skill.
- Experience supporting or producing brand shoots (models, logistics, content capture).
- Photography experience is a strong plus.
