About the job

About Major Frames
Major Frames is a wholesale eyewear company supplying independent retailers nationwide. We operate in a specific part of the supply chain, serving businesses that value consistency, flexibility, and long-term relationships. Our content should reflect that positioning.

About the role
We are hiring a Marketing & Brand Lead to oversee brand voice, visual quality, and channel differentiation across our social platforms.

This role is capped at 10 hours per week to start, with the ability to expand over time for the right candidate. We are looking for someone with strong design judgment who enjoys refining, simplifying, and elevating how a brand shows up.

This is an in-office role with flexible timing across the week. Being on-site allows for faster feedback, better alignment, and more efficient content creation.

What you’ll actually be working on

This is steady, ongoing creative work, not campaign spikes or trend chasing.

LinkedIn (positioning and credibility)

  • Text-forward or minimally designed posts that reflect how the business thinks
  • Operator insights about wholesale, retail, margins, inventory, and scale
  • Clean visual support that reinforces the message without overpowering it

Instagram / Facebook (product and brand clarity)

  • Simple, well-designed product highlights
  • Small carousels showing assortments, colorways, or use cases
  • Educational posts that explain the business clearly and visually
  • Brand presence posts that feel reliable, not flashy

Visual system refinement

  • Improving consistency in layout, spacing, and typography
  • Creating a small set of repeatable design frameworks
  • Refining how Canva templates are used so nothing feels generic

On-site content capture

  • Planning and directing content capture in the warehouse or office
  • Creating shot lists so in-person time is efficient
  • Capturing practical, behind-the-scenes assets that can be reused over time

Creative review and guardrails

  • Reviewing content before it goes live
  • Maintaining clear channel intent
  • Saying no when something does not meet the standard
  • Keeping visuals and tone consistent as the brand grows

What this role is not

  • Not influencer marketing
  • Not trend-driven or meme-focused content
  • Not daily posting volume
  • Not a full-time on-camera role

What we’re looking for

  • Strong visual judgment and attention to detail
  • Comfort designing static social content that feels intentional and professional
  • Clear understanding of how LinkedIn differs from Instagram in tone and purpose
  • Ability to explain design and content decisions
  • Organized and efficient with limited weekly hours

Required experience

  • Portfolio of social content you designed or led creatively
  • Strong Canva experience

Time & growth

  • Part-time, 10 hours per week (hard cap initially)
  • Flexible schedule across the week
  • Opportunity to expand hours and responsibility based on performance
