About the Role

We are seeking an analytical, creative, consumer-centric Brand Manager to own strategy, execution, and results for the Solely brand. This is a highly visible role with full brand responsibility spanning consumer insights, innovation, budget management, and integrated marketing leadership. You'll manage a Marketing Assistant, lead cross-functional partners, and serve as the primary steward of brand growth. Responsibilities

Brand Strategy and Budget Management

  • Own brand strategy, positioning, and annual brand plan for assigned categories
  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient investment and measurable ROI
  • Translate insights into strategies that drive brand growth and long-term equity

Innovation and Commercialization

  • Lead end-to-end innovation pipeline: concept development → business case → cross-functional commercialization → launch execution → post-launch tracking
  • Identify and evaluate innovative partners to enhance brand growth and consumer engagement

Communications and Influencer Leadership

  • Lead agency partners (creative, PR, digital) to deliver breakthrough brand communications
  • Own Solely's influencer strategy and execution—from partner identification to content creation and impact measurement

Sales and Trade Support

  • Partner with sales to create compelling, fact-based selling stories rooted in consumer and category insights
  • Provide marketing tools and presentations to support retail growth and customer engagement

Cross-Functional and Customer Collaboration

  • Work closely with customer success, field marketing, and shopper marketing to deliver cohesive brand activations and in-store excellence
  • Collaborate with R&D, operations, and supply chain on innovation and commercialization projects

Consumer and Market Insights

  • Own the consumer and category insight agenda, leveraging Nielsen/IRI/SPINS, custom research, and brand health trackers
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies for innovation, brand building, and retail execution

People and Team Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a Marketing Assistant
  • Provide leadership to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and accountability

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years CPG marketing or brand management experience (Food & Beverage strongly preferred)
  • Proven track record leading brand strategy, innovation launches, influencer campaigns, and integrated marketing
  • Strong analytical skills with syndicated data expertise (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS)
  • Budget management experience required; MBA preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management experience (direct reports or cross-functional)
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
  • Passion for food, wellness, and building brands with purpose
  • Bonus: Bilingual Spanish & English, experience at both large and small companies

Pay range and compensation package

Base Salary: $105,000 - $130,000 (commensurate with experience)
