Are you a creative strategist with a passion for the beverage industry? This isn’t your typical "coffee-run" internship. We are launching a disruptive new beverage brand, and we’re looking for a high-energy Undergraduate or Graduate intern to sit in the passenger seat—and occasionally take the wheel—during our California brand launch.

We’re a California-based citrus mixers for cocktails and mocktails, creating a new category of luxury mixers in the beverage industry. You will work directly with the co-founders**,** receiving 1-on-1 mentorship while architecting our brand’s debut in the Bay Area market.

The Details

  • Pay: $20 per hour
  • Duration: 3 – 6 months (Flexible start date)
  • Time Commitment: Minimum 10 hours per week (Flexible scheduling)
  • Location: Variable Remote / Hybrid (Remote-first with occasional in-person strategy sessions if local)

What You’ll Be Doing

You will work directly with a seasoned luxury wine executive to translate high-end brand principles into a vibrant startup launch, gaining the rare experience of taking a product from concept to a launch. You’ll be an integral part of our "launch squad," from ideation to execution.

1. Social Media Strategy & Content

  • Assembling, publishing and scheduling social posts on Instagram while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Launch Instagram Strategy: Focus on high-aesthetic lifestyle photography and "behind-the-scenes" of the launch.
  • LinkedIn Presence: Help the founders establish thought leadership in the "sober-curious" and craft cocktail movements.
  • Community Management: Engage with mixologists, influencers, and hospitality partners.

2. Bay Area Launch, Pop-Up Planning & Execution

  • Identify and approach high-traffic, brand-aligned venues in San Francisco and the North Bay (from tech hubs to local markets).
  • Coordinate logistics for tasting events and temporary "zest bars." Travel reimbursement for in-person events provided.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, sharing the story of our California citrus roots with customers.

3. Strategic Brand Support

  • Identify and implement social media management platforms, analytics tools, content scheduling software, and email marketing software.
  • Provide and maintain dashboard of social media metrics and KPI,
  • Create an initial soft launch of an email marketing campaign.
  • Drafting communications for retail partners and wholesale accounts.

Who You Are

  • Strategic & Polished: You understand that "luxury" is about the details, but "startup" is about the speed.
  • Experience with content creation, including use of commonly used software (CapCut, Canva, photography, movie video editing, etc)
  • Bay Area Savvy: You know where the trendsetters hang out and where our mixers belong.
  • Self-Starter: You take pride in "owning" a project from the first brainstorm to the final report.
  • Interest in F&B: You have a passion for the beverage industry, mixology, or the mindful consumption cocktail movement
