Role Summary
The User Growth Manager owns the recruitment, activation, and performance management of high-converting prosumer members (top “Squad sellers”) to drive demo-led conversion and revenue. This role builds and scales a repeatable playbook to increase qualified traffic, improve conversion rates, and unlock growth opportunities across product categories. Working closely with the Head of User Operations & Growth, the role executes and localizes U.S. market growth strategies through prosumer-led programs, partnerships, and experimental growth models.
Key Responsibilities
1) Prosumer Recruitment & Pipeline Building
- Identify, source, and recruit high-potential prosumers (makers, creators, small studio owners, instructors) who can drive conversions through demos and trusted recommendations.
- Build a scalable talent pipeline using category communities, creator networks, offline events, and partner channels.
- Define “qualified prosumer” criteria and maintain a structured recruiting funnel (lead → interview → onboarding → activation).
2) Squad Performance Management (Conversion & Sales Ownership)
- Own prosumer member KPIs: demo volume, lead generation, conversion rate, sales revenue, and content-to-conversion contribution.
- Create tiering/segmentation (e.g., A/B/C tiers) and manage performance with clear expectations, incentives, and coaching.
- Run weekly/monthly business reviews with top members; drive improvements via feedback, training, and playbook updates.
- Ensure compliance and brand-safe communications in all member-led selling activities.
3) Demo Conversion Program (Online + Offline)
- Design and operate prosumer demo programs: live demos, webinars, workshops, store pop-ups, community demos, and event-based selling.
- Standardize demo flows, scripts, objection handling, and follow-up sequences to maximize conversion.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure demos are supported with the right assets (kits, offers, landing pages, tracking).
4) New Growth Models & Experimentation
- Develop and test new growth levers (e.g., referral loops, co-selling programs, paid workshop models, affiliate-like mechanics, partner bundles).
- Run structured experiments across categories to improve traffic quality and conversion efficiency.
- Translate learnings into repeatable SOPs and scalable playbooks.
5) Cross-Category Opportunity Discovery
- Identify category-specific growth opportunities (printing / heat & crafting / SMB / laser) and deploy prosumer programs where the ROI is highest
- Coordinate with category owners to align prosumer initiatives with each category’s funnel and seasonal priorities.
6) U.S. Local Execution & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Support the Head of User Operations & Growth in executing U.S.-local growth strategy and operating cadence.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Community, Content, Ecommerce, Product, and Customer Support to ensure end-to-end funnel execution.
- Provide structured insights and reporting to inform roadmap and campaign planning.
Success Metrics (Examples)
- Prosumer pipeline: # of qualified recruits, activation rate, time-to-first-demo
- Demo performance: demo count, attendance rate, lead capture rate
- Funnel impact: demo-to-purchase conversion rate, CAC efficiency, revenue attributed to prosumer programs
- Sales outcomes: GMV/revenue per prosumer, tier A member growth, retention of top sellers
- Program scalability: # of repeatable SOPs created, experiment velocity and win rate
Qualifications
- 3–7 years in growth, community-led growth, influencer/creator programs, channel sales, partnerships, or performance marketing.
- Proven experience driving conversion through people-led programs (creators, affiliates, ambassadors, communities, field marketing).
- Strong ability to design measurable programs, manage performance, and iterate with data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management; comfortable working cross-functionally.
- U.S. market knowledge and experience operating within American creator/community ecosystems is a strong plus.
Core Competencies
- Growth mindset with strong execution (test → learn → scale)
- Performance management and coaching
- Program ops + KPI discipline
- Community/creator ecosystem familiarity
- Conversion-focused storytelling and demo enablemen
