Position Summary:
This individual will be in an in-person intern role, supporting Marketing and Social Media initiatives with a strong emphasis on brand growth, audience engagement, and campaign execution.
This intern will help ensure that marketing materials and content reach the right audience at the right time in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. They will support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns by assisting with content planning, campaign coordination, audience targeting, and performance tracking across social and digital channels. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, extremely organized, able to manage multiple tasks concurrently, and comfortable working across multiple departments to support broader marketing objectives.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly creative, and well-versed in social media platforms—particularly the nuances of Instagram and TikTok—with an interest in how social supports overall marketing strategy. They should have the ability to do basic editing, develop on-brand story-driven content, and assist with campaign messaging, product positioning, and influencer marketing initiatives. Additionally, this person will help build and maintain relationships with content creators, influencers, and internal partners to support marketing campaigns and social activations.
This role requires a high level of nimbleness, as the intern will assist in ideating, planning, and executing marketing and social initiatives, including photo and video shoots, campaign assets, and digital content as needed. This person will work closely with members of the Marketing, Digital, and Educational teams to support product launches, brand campaigns, and go-to-market efforts, helping bring marketing strategies to life across social and digital platforms.
Duties and responsibilities
- Create photo/video to be executed on Instagram and TikTok and other relevant social channels
- Increase engagement, reach, and impressions across all social media channels through strategic organic and paid influencer activations
- Expand positive share of voice through strategic influencer campaigns
- Closely monitor trends, feedback, and sentiment on our social channels to inform social content
- Work cross functionally with members of the Marketing, Education, and Digital teams to bring social content to life
- Adjust social content as needed to meet engagement, reach, website traffic, and follower goals
- Assist in execution of product marketing strategy including product architecture, product launch process and go-to-market strategy
- Make recommendations to seize market based on analysis
- Assist end-to-end launch process, from product selection to go-to-market strategies focused on the consumer journey to include mobile first, social first, and video first mindset
- Assist execution of launch strategies within designated budget
- Assist in development of creative briefs for all programs and launches
- Assist in managing strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to develop launch strategies and product briefs
Qualifications
- Expertise in social media platforms (i.e., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest specifically).
- Knowledge of reporting social media engagement, conversation, social listening
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
- Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
- Familiarity with marketing principles, packaging design and creative asset management.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Ability to progress projects with consistent follow up to various departments.
- Team player and ready to jump in and help where needed.
Working conditions
- This role is 100% onsite, Monday through Friday, at the company’s corporate office.
- Standard office environment with consistent in-person collaboration across Marketing, Creative, and cross‑functional teams.
- Frequent use of computers, phones, cameras, and digital tools to support content creation and social media activities.
- Occasional need to move between office areas, conference rooms, and studio or product storage spaces for content capture.
- Fast‑paced environment requiring the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting needs.
- May require occasional early morning, evening, or weekend support during product launches, events, or time‑sensitive social media moments.
- Regular exposure to studio lighting, photography equipment, and product samples during content creation sessions.
Physical requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing while working at a computer, capturing content, or participating in meetings.
- Ability to lift, carry, or move items up to 20 lbs., such as product boxes, props, lighting equipment, or office supplies used for content shoots.
- Frequent movement around the office to gather materials, coordinate with team members, or set up content spaces.
- Manual dexterity required for operating cameras, mobile devices, lighting equipment, and other content‑creation tools.
- Visual acuity to review digital content, edit photos/videos, and ensure brand standards are met.
- Ability to remain focused and engaged for extended periods while managing detailed tasks such as scheduling posts, reviewing analytics, or editing content.
