Role Overview

Bare Performance Nutrition is seeking a Director of Partnerships to lead and scale our athlete, influencer, and strategic partnership programs as a core growth channel within marketing. This role owns the strategy, structure, and execution of partnerships that drive brand equity, cultural relevance, and measurable commercial impact.

Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, the Director of Partnerships will be responsible for building a disciplined, scalable partnership ecosystem—balancing authentic athlete relationships with operational rigor, clear expectations, and performance accountability. This role is highly cross-functional and deeply embedded in marketing, product launches, events, and e-commerce initiatives.

This is an in-office leadership role for a proven operator who has successfully scaled partnership programs using process, technology, and data.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Strategy & Program Design

  • Own the overall athlete and influencer partnership strategy aligned to brand positioning and growth objectives
  • Design and manage a tiered partnership model (e.g., flagship athletes, paid partners, ambassadors) with clear economics, expectations, and progression paths
  • Develop annual and quarterly partnership roadmaps aligned to product launches, campaigns, retail moments, and key events

Athlete & Influencer Management

  • Identify, recruit, contract, and retain athletes and influencers aligned with Bare Performance Nutrition’s values and audience
  • Own partner onboarding, communication cadence, and relationship management
  • Define and manage deliverables, usage rights, content expectations, and brand compliance
  • Ensure partnerships feel authentic while remaining operationally sound and scalable

Performance & Measurement

  • Own partner economics, including compensation models, discount codes, tracking links, and incentives
  • Measure partnership impact on revenue, CAC, conversion, and brand engagement
  • Regularly evaluate partner performance and optimize investment across tiers

Operations, Systems & Scalability

  • Build and manage the partnership technology stack (affiliate platforms, influencer management tools, CRM, dashboards)
  • Maintain a centralized database for partner contracts, deliverables, performance metrics, and key dates
  • Establish repeatable workflows for partner recruitment, approvals, onboarding, and renewals
  • Standardize briefs, contracts, reporting, and post-campaign recaps

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Brand, Creative, Paid Media, E-commerce, Product, and Events teams to integrate partners into campaigns and launches
  • Lead external partnership activations including events, sponsorships, and community initiatives
  • Ensure partnership initiatives are executed on time, on brand, and within budget

Qualifications

  • 7–10+ years of experience in partnerships, influencer marketing, or athlete marketing within DTC, CPG, fitness, or lifestyle brands
  • Proven track record of building and scaling athlete and influencer programs with measurable results
  • Strong operational mindset with experience managing contracts, budgets, timelines, and deliverables
  • Demonstrated use of technology and software to scale partnership programs and reporting
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics and attribution
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • High attention to detail paired with the ability to think strategically
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, in-office environment
