From swords and armor to reenactment gear and outdoor collectibles. We’re passionate about history and craftsmanship, and we’re looking for someone who can help us grow our digital presence while shaping what we sell.

We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on E-Commerce Marketing & Merchandising Specialist to help us grow our digital presence, drive conversions, and increase customer lifetime value.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal sales, and content strategies aligned with brand goals and merchandising calendars.
  • Collaborate with product, creative, and operations teams to launch and promote new and existing products.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities and trends in the historical and collector product niche.
  • Create compelling offers and content across email, site banners, and social media (working with design and copy support as needed).

Email Marketing & CRM

  • Own and manage all email marketing: newsletters, cart abandonment, reactivation, post-purchase, and loyalty campaigns.
  • Segment and grow our email list while improving engagement and deliverability.
  • Optimize automations and flows using our email service (and preferred CRM tools) to support both revenue and brand loyalty goals.

Merchandising & Product Listings

  • Review and optimize product listings for SEO, clarity, and conversion.
  • Suggest improvements to descriptions, images, categorization, and cross-sells.
  • Monitor bestsellers and slow movers to inform merchandising strategies.

Product Sourcing & Trends

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor launches, and customer feedback to propose new product ideas.
  • Assist in product sourcing efforts by identifying gaps or seasonal opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leadership and buying teams on product roadmap decisions.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Mailchimp Reports, and Shopify/BigCommerce (or platform equivalent) to monitor campaign performance.
  • Deliver insights, learnings, and recommendations from all marketing efforts.
  • Report KPIs and suggest ongoing improvements to increase ROI.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in e-commerce marketing, preferably for a niche or DTC brand.
  • Proven track record with email marketing, promotions, and content planning.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, etc.) and email marketing tools like Mailchimp or Klaviyo.
  • Strong understanding of digital analytics and campaign tracking.
  • Excellent copywriting, organizational, and project management skills.
  • A passion for history, storytelling, or pop culture is a big plus.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience in SEO, influencer outreach, or affiliate marketing.
  • Graphic design or basic HTML/CSS for email and product page tweaks.
  • Knowledge of the historical or collectible product market.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
