Internship Overview

JTM Digital is seeking a Social Media Intern to support content creation and on-site social media photoshoots for lifestyle and hospitality brands.

This internship is designed for current college students interested in marketing, communications, media, or creative industries. Interns will gain hands-on experience in real agency projects while developing creative and professional skills.

Interns will participate in professional content production, creative shoots, and brand storytelling projects — perfect for building a standout portfolio.

Key Responsibilities ***(Creative & Learning-Focused)***Photoshoot & Content Creation Support

  • Participate in on-site social media photoshoots
  • Assist with plating, styling, and action shots (e.g., hands holding utensils, pouring drinks, etc.)
  • Support creative scenes for short videos and funny skits
  • Help communicate with staff, influencers, and team members during shoots

Social Media & Trend Research

  • Explore trending content on Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
  • Share creative ideas for restaurant and lifestyle content
  • Assist in executing content concepts in real campaigns

Team Collaboration

  • Work with marketing, creative, and strategy teams
  • Participate in brainstorming and creative discussions

(Other duties may be assigned based on project needs.)

Schedule & Commitment

  • Flexible schedule, up to 20 hours/week
  • Hybrid role with remote work and on-site photoshoots in your local area.
  • Candidates must be currently based in one of the following regions: DC, VA, MD, NJ, NY, PA, or TX.
  • Minimum commitment: 3 months preferred

Eligibility

  • Currently enrolled students only (Sophomore / Junior / Senior)
  • Majors preferred: Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, Design, or related fields
  • Credit-eligible (subject to school approval)
  • CPT/OPT supported
  • Travel and meal expenses covered for off-site shoots
  • High-performing interns may be considered for future paid or long-term opportunities
