re+PLAY Recovery is a performance-focused CBD/hemp wellness and sports recovery brand founded by former NBA player Al Harrington to help athletes and active people manage pain and recover more effectively. Our products—such as topical recovery gels and creams—are formulated with THC-free CBD and other cannabinoids, developed with input from athletes and certified trainers, and designed to support muscle relief and post-workout recovery. We are science-backed, organic, and high quality formulations and positions itself as athlete-approved and performance oriented.

Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning
· Ensure the brand resonates with athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and recovery-focused consumers
· Translate consumer insights and market trends into actionable brand strategies
· Campaigns & Marketing Execution
· Lead integrated marketing campaigns (product launches, seasonal initiatives, athlete-led storytelling)
· Manage digital, social, PR, and paid media to execute campaigns
· Liaise with creative agencies, freelancers, and internal teams
Product & Go-To-Market
· Liaise with product development on new product launches and line extensions
· Execute go-to-market plans including messaging, packaging input, and launch timelines
· Support crafting compelling product narratives grounded in benefits, science, and performance
· Athlete, Influencer & Partnership Marketing
· Support athlete, trainer, and influencer partnerships from a brand perspective
· Active project management and tracking
· Work with partnerships team to maximize brand impact and credibility
· Support with budgeting and forecasting
Consumer & Market Insights
· Analyze consumer behavior, feedback, and performance data to inform decisions
· Monitor competitive landscape and emerging trends in sports recovery and wellness
· Use insights to optimize messaging, campaigns, and product positioning
· KPI and analytics reporting and analysis
Retail & E-commerce Support
· Support development of brand assets and messaging for retail partners and DTC platforms
· Ensure consistent brand execution across packaging, PDPs, displays, and merchandising
Qualifications
· 2-3 years of brand coordination or marketing experience (CPG, wellness, sports, or beauty preferred)

Experience in a start up environment
· Strong understanding of athletes, fitness culture, or recovery/wellness space
· Proven ability to lead campaigns from concept through execution
· Excellent storytelling, communication, and creative briefing skills
· Data-informed mindset with strong analytical and decision-making abilities
· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
