Compaytence is looking for a driven, social-savvy

Outreach & Community Engagement Associate

to help scale our visibility across online communities and social platforms. You’ll act as a digital brand ambassador—joining Reddit threads, Discord servers, Twitter conversations, and other niche corners of the internet—to promote our services, connect with potential clients, build influencer relationships, and surface valuable leads.

This role is remote-first, but we’re specifically seeking someone based in

Boise, ID

, as we’d like to meet occasionally for in-person training and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and engage in high-signal online communities (Reddit, Discord, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook Groups, etc.)

  • Join conversations authentically, contributing value before promoting our services

  • Identify and reach out to potential clients, affiliate partners, and influencers

  • Consistently generate new outreach opportunities and help track incoming leads

  • Follow up with clients or prospects through direct messages or social platform engagement

  • Plan and execute effective outreach strategies to increase awareness and generate referrals

  • Assist with organizing outreach data, maintaining tracking tools, and reporting progress

  • Stay up to date with trends in eCommerce, digital payments, and social media

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Reddit, Discord, Twitter, and other social platforms

  • Comfortable engaging in conversations and initiating outreach in online communities

  • Organized, proactive, and self-managing

  • Based in or near Boise, ID for occasional in-person training or meetups

  • Strong written communication and an understanding of online tone and etiquette

  • Ability to work 10–20 hours per week with a flexible schedule

Preferred Background

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a business, marketing, communications, or entrepreneurship program

  • Experience with eCommerce tools or platforms (e.g., Shopify, Stripe, Wise) is a plus

  • Experience participating in online communities, forums, or Discord servers is a strong advantage
