Overview:
Hard Rock is seeking a Manager of Social Media to help transform the social presence of one of the world’s most iconic brands. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Social Media, this position will play an integral role in company-wide social initiatives across live entertainment, gaming, hospitality, and brand partnerships. The role will also support the social strategy for future property openings in Las Vegas, Athens, and New York City.
As the primary point of contact for Hard Rock’s master brand social agency, the Manager of Social Media will develop and execute a dynamic social strategy for the @OfficialHardRock master brand accounts, leveraging insights to optimize content and drive continuous growth. In addition to leading strategy, this role will remain hands-on, supporting live event coverage, real-time content creation, and platform-specific editing. The Manager will also serve as a central partner to social leaders across the organization, driving unified measurement, performance insights, and best practices to elevate social performance company-wide.
The ideal candidate is passionate about creative social storytelling, experienced in managing social channels for dynamic, multi-faceted brands, and thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments. They are highly organized, strategic, and able to balance big-picture vision with hands-on execution, using social insights to continuously refine content performance and channel growth. Responsibilities:
- Define and continually evolve the tone, voice and positioning of Hard Rock’s master brand social channels in partnership with the Director of Social Media and SVP of Entertainment Marketing & Content.
- Oversee daily execution of social activity for Official Hard Rock on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn – ensuring content is engaging and compelling.
- Provide on-site social coverage for concerts, events, partnership activations, photoshoots, and appearances — capturing content and distributing assets to corporate, property and agency teams.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with properties, lines of business and key departments to develop and execute integrated social strategies across master brand accounts.
- Manage content production workflows, approvals, and publishing, ensuring operational excellence, timeliness, and consistency with the brand.
- Oversee creator and influencer campaigns with agency partners to maximize content opportunities and achieve pre-determined engagement and performance benchmarks.
- Coordinate and support property-level social teams, sharing best practices, aligning on social policies and procedures, and providing strategic guidance to elevate their content.
- Monitor cultural, digital, and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to drive innovative content and maintain brand relevance.
- Manage reporting processes and analytics, translating data into actionable insights that optimize content performance and inform strategic decisions.
- Serve as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing guidance on social strategy, content priorities, and campaign execution.
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior staff or contractors, including the Social Media Specialist, on best practices, content creation, and platform updates.
Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of experience in social media or digital content, ideally within entertainment, hospitality, lifestyle, or sports.
- Strong understanding of platform best practices (Meta, TikTok, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat).
- Proven ability to manage content calendars, campaigns, and workflows.
- Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Emplifi, Sprinklr, Sprout Social) and ability to translate insights into strategy.
- Skilled in content production and comfortable with tools such as Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or similar.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and live events.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing staff and various internal & external stakeholders.
