We are hiring a Personal Brand Content Manager who also edits video content. This role owns the execution of the founder’s personal brand content end-to-end, from filming coordination to editing and publishing.

Approximately 90% of this role supports the founder’s personal brand. The remaining 10% provides light content support for select agency clients when needed.

You will operate as the producer and content operator. The founder provides ideas and on-camera presence; you ensure content is consistently filmed, edited, published, and maintained without day-to-day oversight.

This role is execution-focused, systems-oriented, and accountability-driven.

Key Responsibilities

Content Ownership

  • Own the weekly and monthly content calendar for the founder’s personal brand.
  • Determine posting cadence and distribution across platforms.
  • Ensure consistent content output regardless of business workload.
  • Repurpose long-form recordings into short-form video assets.

Video Editing (Required)

  • Edit short-form video content for platforms including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
  • Add captions, hooks, pacing, and light motion graphics as appropriate.
  • Maintain a clean, professional, business-focused editing style.
  • Deliver publish-ready content efficiently and consistently.
  • Delegate overflow editing to contractors or VAs when necessary.

Founder Coordination & Accountability

  • Schedule and protect filming blocks on the founder’s calendar.
  • Prepare prompts or outlines to streamline filming sessions.
  • Keep filming sessions efficient and structured.
  • Ensure filming commitments are met and content production stays on track.

Distribution & Optimization

  • Publish content across agreed platforms without requiring approval for every asset.
  • Monitor basic performance metrics to inform future content direction.
  • Identify high-performing formats and topics.

Light Client Support (Approx. 10%)

  • Repurpose existing content for select agency clients when appropriate.
  • Provide limited editing or posting support to align with client brand standards.
  • Coordinate with internal team members to ensure expectations are met.

What This Role Is Not

  • Not an influencer or trend-focused role.
  • Not solely a video editing position.
  • Not an assistant role requiring constant direction.
  • Not responsible for direct lead generation or revenue targets.

Success Metrics (First 90 Days)

  • Weekly personal brand content is published consistently without reminders.
  • Founder spends minimal time managing content logistics.
  • Editing quality remains clean, timely, and on-brand.
  • Filming sessions run predictably and efficiently.
  • A content backlog exists to prevent posting gaps.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience editing short-form video content.
  • Experience supporting founder-led or business-focused brands.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
  • Clear understanding of professional, business-oriented content.
