Senior Operations Specialist

About the Company

Heyup is a next-generation social app designed to help people connect through everyday life and shared interests, rather than profiles and photos alone. By putting posts first, Heyup encourages more natural interactions and more authentic social connections. We are currently preparing for a private beta launch and are inviting a limited group of early users to participate in structured product testing. This role focuses on real usage, in-app participation, and experience feedback, rather than promotion or marketing.

About the Role

We’re launching a new social app focused on meeting people through content and real-life context—not swipes. This role supports the U.S. campus cold start, including pilot universities, and a magane campus ambassador program.

Responsibilities

• Launch and operate pilot cities and universities (0→1).
• Manage campus and local channels (student orgs, events, community partners).
• Recruit, train, and manage campus ambassadors.
• Build local communities and organize engagement activities.
• Drive early user acquisition and in-app engagement through content and events.
• Develop partnerships with student orgs, campus media, and local businesses.

Qualifications

• U.S. based; eligible to work in the U.S.
• 3+ years experience in campus ops, community growth, or ambassador programs.
• Familiar with U.S. university network.
• Able to independently plan and execute a city or campus launch.
• Strong ownership and execution mindset.
• Fluent in English; Chinese proficiency is a plus.
• Alignment with a respectful, safe, and women-friendly community culture.
