Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and execute social and digital media campaigns aligned with Adjoin’s mission and business objectives
- Create and manage engaging content across platforms, including social media, websites, blogs, email, podcasts, videos, graphics, press releases, and newsletters
- Maintain and manage all organizational social media channels, ensuring brand voice, tone, and visual consistency
- Build and maintain a monthly social media calendar; create, update, and deploy platform-specific graphics and templates
- Monitor social media activity, trends, and competitor strategies; identify opportunities for growth and campaign ideas
- Engage and grow online communities by responding to comments and messages, escalating issues as needed
- Write post copy, share lines, hashtags, and tags to maximize organic reach
- Track performance metrics, assist in developing KPIs and ROI reporting, and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with leadership on influencer campaigns, marketing initiatives, and special events
- Maintain account security, logins, bios, and links; update content as organizational changes occur
- Assist with marketing, fundraising, digital projects, and event-related media support as needed
- Manages end-to-end digital projects as assigned
- Travel to meetings, conferences, and community events as required
- Updates account descriptions, links, and bios any time organizational changes occur that impacts information.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in digital media, graphic design, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in social media, digital media, or content marketing
- Proficiency with content management systems (e.g., Later, WordPress, etc.) and social media platforms
- Experience with graphic design and media editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, Canva)
- Strong verbal and written communication, writing, and editing skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Deep knowledge of digital and social media platforms, their functionality, and the evolution of digital communities.
- Strong understanding of digital media KPI and metrics.
- Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks equally well and able to adapt to changing needs in real time.
- Ability to adhere to a clear brand voice
- Hands-on, high-energy work ethic, with an ability to work very effectively autonomously and as part of a team and with all levels of the company
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working for a nonprofit organization
- Know-how in podcast editing, digital marketing and publishing
- Experience in animation
- Experience in videography and ad serving tools
- Experience or knowledge of community-based services to people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and/or homeless veterans.
Position Requirements:
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physical evaluation as required by job requirements which may include a TB test and/or a lift and transfer test.
- CA Driver’s License, valid CA insurance and acceptable DMV record.
