The Role: Account Coordinator, Digital & Content Team (Entry Level)
As an Account Coordinator on the Digital & Content Team, you’ll play a vital support role across a variety of integrated marketing programs. You’re digitally savvy, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the ins and outs of client management, digital content creation, and campaign execution. You’ll support the team by managing assets, keeping a close eye on social channels, and assisting with copywriting and reporting to help ensure day-to-day operations run seamlessly.

Essential Skills, Functions
- Assist with day-to-day account tasks including tracking deliverables, organizing internal documents, and supporting meeting preparation (e.g., agendas, recaps, scheduling).
- Help draft, edit, and proof content for social media, email, and web that reflects each client’s brand voice.
- Support content calendar planning and asset collection for digital campaigns (social, email, influencer, etc.).
- Monitor social media platforms, engaging with communities and escalating issues or opportunities to the team.
- Stay informed on platform trends and help source relevant inspiration or best practices.
- Contribute to campaign reporting by gathering metrics and assisting with presentation materials.
- Conduct research on influencers, competitors, and industry trends to support campaign planning.
- Assist in setting up posts in social media scheduling platforms (e.g., Sprout Social).
- Support CBC House Programs through content creation, social tracking, and reposting attendee coverage to relevant brand or agency accounts.
- Create post-trip social recaps for CBC House Programs, highlighting engagement, reach, and key moments.
- Develop social content for CBC Marketing’s Instagram and LinkedIn channels to support and promote agency initiatives.
- Provide general project support to team members, jumping in where needed to help meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of relevant internship or agency experience in digital marketing, communications, or social media
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets), Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Slack
- Experience with content tools like Canva or CapCut; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to support team needs
Location
- Based in the Boston area
- CBC employees are remote with the occasional in-person workdays or team building activities
