The Opportunity We’re looking for a hybrid creative–strategic leader who knows how to connect creators, culture, and craft. The Director of Influencer Marketing leads the development and creative excellence of CYLNDR’s influencer discipline, setting the creative vision for how influencer content comes to life across brands. You’ll build a multidisciplinary team that connects creator relationships, strategic rigor, and production craft into one seamless engine. You’ll partner with creative, strategy, and paid media leads (including Attention Arc) to design campaigns that integrate influencer content with brand storytelling and paid amplification. This is a highly visible, client-facing role that guides cross-agency teams and drives complex programs from insight to delivery. You will oversee influencer programs across multiple brands and partner agencies in the CAN network.
What You’ll Do Build the Practice
- Lead the evolution of the influencer discipline — defining future capabilities, workflows, and opportunities that move the practice forward with intention.
- Establish CYLNDR’s influencer practice as the creative and strategic solution for influencer marketing
- Shape the structure, roles, and success metrics of the influencer team as the practice grows and evolves.
- Develop scalable systems, templates, and processes that enable consistent sourcing, management, contracting, and reporting
- Build workflows that improve efficiency, clarity, and quality across the network
- Mentor and lead a high-performing, curious, and creatively driven team
- Drive growth and identify new opportunities with current and new clients
- Oversee influencer budgets, contract negotiations, and payment processes in partnership with Finance
Cross-functional Leadership
- Lead collaboration across CYLNDR and sister agencies to ensure influencer programs are aligned, integrated, and delivered with consistency and quality
- Translate client objectives into influencer strategies that blend authenticity with tangible business outcomes
- Connect influencer programs to broader brand and campaign initiatives
- Partner with the ECDs to elevate creator output through strong briefing, collaborative creative development, and thoughtful creative guidance
- Collaborate with media team to integrate influencer content into paid ecosystems and ensure optimized performance across channels
- Ensure influencer deliverables, approvals, and launch timelines are managed efficiently and delivered on schedule across partners and platforms
- Integrate influencer content with CYLNDR’s production craft, ensuring creator work meets the same standards as our studio-led output
- Stay current on platform shifts, creator behaviors, and cultural trends that inform influencer strategy and creative development
- Lead measurement frameworks that connect influencer programs to brand lift, engagement, and revenue outcomes
Represent CYLNDR & the Influencer Discipline
- Champion CYLNDR’s influencer POV, ensuring creator work is connected to the studio’s broader creative and production vision
- Act as the face of the influencer practice across CYLNDR and the CAN network
- Partner with clients and agency teams to deepen understanding of influencer’s role in modern brand building
- Build and sustain strong creator, platform, and industry relationships
- Help define and evolve CYLNDR’s point of view on creators, culture, and the future of influencer marketing

Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of experience in influencer, creator, or social-led marketing (agency or brand side)
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams and large-scale influencer programs
- Expertise in the creator economy, influencer pricing, contracting, rights/usage, compliance, and performance metrics
- Strong creative instincts with the ability to collaborate across creative, production, media, and strategy
- Experience integrating influencer content into paid amplification ecosystems
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an appetite to build inside a fast-moving studio
