, depending on program guidelines.

We’re at the very beginning of building Vital, which means this is a rare chance to help shape a brand from zero: how it sounds, how it shows up, and how it grows.

Role Description

This is a contract, remote, unpaid internship role for a Business & Marketing Intern at Vital Energy™. You’ll work closely with us on market research, brand positioning, business planning, and shaping real marketing and growth strategies as the brand scales.

You’ll help build Vital’s voice and presence through social and community initiatives, support influencer and partnership outreach, assist with go-to-market planning, and contribute to presentations and reports tied to real decisions; not busywork.

This role offers hands-on exposure to how an early-stage consumer brand is actually built, with real ownership, creative input, and visibility into founder-level decision-making across business and marketing.

Qualifications

  • Curious, thoughtful, and motivated; especially about brand, business, and growth
  • Comfortable thinking analytically and connecting ideas to real outcomes
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate clearly and professionally
  • Interest in marketing, branding, community-building, or early-stage startups
  • Self-directed and reliable in a remote environment
  • Open to learning, experimenting, and taking initiative
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or a related field (preferred, not required)
