What You Will Do:
- Lead the Narrative: Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies that align with client goals.
- Pitch with Passion: Identify unique story angles and secure placements in local, regional, and national media.
- Integrate & Collaborate: Work alongside our Social Media and Legacy Media teams to ensure your PR wins are supported across all channels.
- Innovate: While your focus is PR, you will lean into how social media and radio/legacy media can enhance your coverage (we will teach you our specific integration methods!).
- Client Success: Act as a trusted advisor to our clients, showcasing how the "5 Pillars" drive their success.

- A "PR First" Mindset: Your core strength is traditional PR, media relations, and writing. You love the hunt for a story.
- Cross-Channel Curiosity: You either know or are willing to learn how Social Media and Legacy Media enhance PR work. You don't view PR in a vacuum.
- Strong Communicator: Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills are non-negotiable.
- Adaptive: You thrive in a growing, fast-paced agency environment.
- Experience: [2+] years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.

Ideal candidates should bring enthusiasm for writing and really enjoy researching and writing for press. A solid contact list in print and electronic plus super phone skills is a plus, relationships with influencers is a A++! We are a multimedia shop working in many marketing disciplines such as social media platform work, press relations, web design, media ( radio tv newsprint) promotions and events – so enjoying learning is a huge asset here.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Excellent writing skills, passion for online PR and story trends a must. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, loves working with clients and a creative team, and has a gift in the writing and communication arena. Attention to detail is critical - superior grammatical knowledge is a must.
- Be familiar with all forms of PR and social media outreach for PR. Experienced with FACEBOOK fan pages and Twitter and have an understanding on how social media marketing works for businesses and press.
- Manages all press and is responsible for growth, engagement, brand, and reputation management online.
- Writes and edits press releases, articles, web information, blogs, presentations, and media pitches.
- Assists department leaders in developing strategies to grow and promote all client and internal public relations and marketing.
- Cultivates and maintains relationships with media reps and internal teams and helps manage assigned projects with team members.
- Identify opportunities & implement plans to provide exposure for clients through public relations, social media, community events, partnerships, educational activities, and the media.
- Sources and manages speaking and sponsorship opportunities; capitalizes on new media and social media PR opportunities.
- Research market trends, tracks, and reports on all PAE, web, social media, and brand engagement.
- Responsible for daily writing for social content posting and monitoring as well as reputation management and social media for assigned clients.
- Collaborates and assists in developing a positive, professional corporate culture consistent with organizational mission, vision, and values.
- Drive analytics and measurement to support OKRs; translate PR metrics to business metrics, understanding and dissecting the brand halo effect, understanding of attribution, etc.
- Understanding and ability to drive input to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, strategy with social media team as it relates to PR accounts a plus
- Travel to client meetings/speaking engagements as required
- Collate media monitoring reports
