High-Level Job Description:

We’re seeking a Director of Corporate Talent Bookings to join our New Business team. This role is responsible for building and growing FlyteVu Corporate Bookings by cultivating new clients, identifying business opportunities, and developing strategies that drive celebrity bookings for corporate and private events. Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, this position blends strong relationship-building and executional excellence, serving as a trusted advisor to clients while collaborating closely with internal teams and talent partners. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of client relationships, entertainment, and business development and has a strong rolodex of potential buyers and trusted relationships. We are seeking a candidate who is located in Nashville, TN, Austin, TX, New York, or Los Angeles, CA.

Detailed Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Generate new corporate bookings to meet individual and team revenue goals.
  • Build a strong pipeline of corporate bookings.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy focused on expanding FlyteVu Bookings’ market presence, client base, and revenue generation
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies, adjusting plans as needed to optimize results and achieve company objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, including clients, partners, referral sources, talent, talent managers, and talent agents
  • Update sales software consistently and accurately. Provide regular updates on the progress of new business initiatives, including performance metrics, key milestones, pipeline reports, and future plans
  • Identify and attend networking events, conferences, trade shows and other gatherings to further FlyteVu Bookings’ presence in the industry
  • Maintain client contact databases and track communications via our internal CRM, Hubspot
  • Stay well informed and be able to readily speak to rapidly evolving market dynamics and trends across the entertainment industry

  • Communicate effectively internally and externally in a manner consistent with the company’s Code of Conduct and core values
  • Be willing and able to travel frequently and on weekends
  • Be willing to work during non-business hours, including weekends and additional hours beyond the 40-hour work week as needed

Required Competencies and Skills:

  • 5-8 years of sales experience in an entertainment or corporate bookings-related field
  • Extensive relationships in the corporate events industry
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Understanding of integrated marketing campaigns across PR, digital, social, influencer, and experiential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate across teams
  • Creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial, proactive mindset
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Keynote; familiarity with project management and time-tracking software preferred
  • Problem-solving mentality with the ability to think independently and challenge oneself to learn and grow
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with varying deadlines

Additional Preferences/Not Required:

  • Agency marketing experience in a business development or sales development role
  • Experience managing multiple enterprises or large brands as clients.

Education Required:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Marketing Management, Journalism, Communications, Music Business, General Business, or a related field.
