Veradermics is a dermatologist-founded, late clinical-stage biopharmaceuticalcompany focused on developing innovative therapeutics to address pervasive treatment challenges in highly prevalent aesthetic and dermatological conditions.
In October 2025, Veradermics announced the closing of an oversubscribed $150 million Series C financing with top-tier healthcare investors. Vice President, Corporate Brand and Communications | Position Overview
The Vice President, Corporate Brand & Communications leads the corporate brand, communications, and reputation strategy for Veradermics and provides the enterprise-wide brand foundation for VDPHL01. This role shapes how the company appears publicly—through corporate storytelling, executive communications, media relations, digital presence, and the overarching brand identity that anchors all external engagement.
The VP partners closely with commercial leaders as the commercial marketing and communications function grows, ensuring tight alignment between the corporate brand system and the development of the products commercial brand strategy while maintaining clear ownership of corporate-level communications and enterprise brand platforms. They also act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team, ensuring a cohesive corporate brand, cultural relevance for VDPHL01 at the enterprise level, and high-quality execution across PR, social/digital brand presence, influencer positioning, and corporate content.
Corporate Brand and Communications Leadership
- Develop and execute the integrated corporate brand and communications strategy aligned with Veradermics vision and enterprise objectives.
- Advise the CEO and executive leadership team on corporate reputation, public positioning, executive communications, and stakeholder messaging.
- Establish and steward the master brand architecture and corporate narrative for Veradermics and its pipeline.
- Partner with commercial marketing and communications leadership to ensure alignment between the corporate brand identity and the emerging commercial brand strategy for VDPHL01.
Reputation, Corporate Storytelling & External Communications
- Lead all corporate communications programs, including media relations, executive communications, crisis/reputation management, thought leadership, and corporate social/digital strategy.
- Build and maintain a compelling corporate narrative that resonates with investors, partners, clinical and cultural stakeholders, and employees.
- Oversee corporate brand identity and messaging to ensure consistency, clarity, and differentiation across all external channels.
- Implement proactive reputational monitoring and issue-management frameworks across traditional and digital platforms.
- Manage agency partners and guide messaging for the CEO and other senior spokespeople.
Enterprise Brand Stewardship for VDPHL01 (Corporate-Level)
- Define the enterprise-level brand vision, messaging, and cultural platform for VDPHL01 that supports and informs the development of commercial brand strategy.
- Lead corporate-owned components of consumer-facing brand presence (e.g., cultural narrative, corporate storytelling, earned media and social visibility) that help establish the products identity ahead of promotional launch.
- Collaborate closely with commercial marketing and communications leadership to ensure smooth brand handoffs, aligned messaging frameworks, and consistency across corporate, scientific, and commercial functions.
- Ensure cross-functional clarity and consistency in brand expression across R&D, Medical Affairs, Corporate, and Commercial as the organization scales.
Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Own the day-to-day operation of the corporate brand and communications function, translating strategic direction into prioritized, high-quality execution.
- Operate with strong initiative and end-to-end accountability, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery in a lean operating environment.
- Lead planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for the function, ensuring disciplined investment and effective use of internal and external resources.
- Select, manage, and hold external partners accountable for scope, quality, timelines, and outcomes.
- Foster strong cross-functional collaboration, transparency, and alignment with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Legal, HR, and executive leadership.
Candidate Profile | Who You Are
- 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate brand, communications, or integrated communications roles; experience in biotech, healthcare, beauty, or consumer industries preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate communications, executive visibility, media relations, and digital/social brand strategy.
- Proven ability to develop and steward enterprise-level brand platforms and messaging architectures that connect corporate identity with product storytelling.
- Experience advising CEOs and senior leaders with strong judgment, discretion, and executive presence.
- Adept at brand and communications leadership during major inflection points—such as commercialization preparation, key financing and corporate milestones, and rapid organizational growth—with the ability to be both a strategic architect and a hands-on executor in a lean team environment.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator with commercial marketing and communications teams to ensure cohesive brand and messaging alignment.

Location and Travel:
- Hybrid role based in New Haven, Connecticut
- Requires 1–2 days per week in the office, with additional presence during board meetings, All Hands, or key events
Salary and Benefits
Veradermics provides a comprehensive compensation package that includes a base salary, annual performance bonus eligibility, and access to the employee stock option plan.
