Social Media and Marketing/ Assistant Role

Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and organized Marketing & Social Media Assistant to support our remodeling and interior design business. This role focuses on creating engaging social media content, maintaining posting schedules, and assisting with day-to-day marketing and administrative tasks related to interior design projects.

The ideal candidate is creative with photos and videos, understands social media for businesses (not influencers), and is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable assisting with a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create and post engaging photos and videos for social media platforms (primarily Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn)
• Maintain and manage a consistent posting schedule
• Assist with basic content planning and organization
• Capture jobsite, project, and design-related content as needed
• Support interior design-related assistant tasks, including:
• Organizing samples, selections, or project materials
• Assisting with client prep or project coordination
• General administrative and support duties
• Ensure all content aligns with brand voice and company standards
• Assist with light marketing tasks as needed

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Experience managing social media for a business or brand
• Creative skills with photos and short-form videos
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain schedules
• Comfortable handling assistant and support tasks in a design/remodeling environment
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a remodeling, construction, or interior design company
• Familiarity with tools like Canva or basic photo/video editing apps
• Ability to multitask and shift between creative and administrative responsibilities

Pay: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
