About the job
Overview
Better Life Technology is seeking a hands-on Video Content Producer & Social Media Specialist to lead video-driven content creation across our brands. This role is video-first and execution-focused, responsible for producing engaging short-form and long-form video content from concept through delivery, while also building and strengthening our social media presence.
The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter who can take high-level direction such as key products, campaigns, or themes and independently turn those ideas into compelling video content. This role owns the full video production lifecycle, from concept through publishing and optimization, with content distributed across e-commerce platforms, sales and reseller tools, retail partner assets, and social media channels.
While video production is the core focus, this role also plays a key part in improving channel consistency, content cadence, and audience growth through thoughtful social execution and content planning across multiple brands and both B2C and B2B audiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Video Content Production (Primary Focus – 60–70%):
- Own video content creation from concept to completion, including ideation, scripting, filming, editing, and publishing.
- Produce short-form video content optimized for Reels, Shorts, and other social-first formats.
- Create longer-form video content such as product demos, walkthroughs, behind-the-scenes, tutorials, and brand storytelling.
- Translate high-level creative direction into finished video content with minimal oversight.
- Maintain consistent visual style, pacing, and tone while adapting content to platform best practices.
- Produce versatile content bundles (videos, tutorials, unboxings, demos) that can be used across social channels, shared with resellers and sales reps, and leveraged by retail and big-box partners to support product promotion, merchandising, and sell-through both online and in-store.
Social Media & Channel Growth (Secondary Focus – 30–40%):
- Social media serves as a key awareness, engagement, and storytelling channel, with video content adapted from broader production efforts to support brand visibility and growth.
- Create and manage publishing, optimization, and performance of content across social platforms including Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, X, and Reddit, with opportunities to expand into TikTok.
- Own and maintain a video-first social content calendar aligned with marketing priorities across multiple brands and both B2B and B2C audiences.
- Create and manage posting, engagement, and day-to-day channel activity, including monitoring and responding to comments and messages to maintain an active, positive brand presence.
- Improve consistency, cadence, and performance of social channels through content-driven growth.
- Track and report on content and channel performance, sharing insights and recommendations with key stakeholders to inform future content.
Collaboration & Planning:
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to align video and social content with campaigns, launches, seasonal initiatives, and business priorities.
- Collaborate with the Graphic Designer and broader marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all content and platforms, providing direction and assisting with supplemental visuals as needed.
- Apply SEO best practices across social content, digital assets, and linking to support traffic growth and long-term website visibility.
- Support influencer, partner, and reseller initiatives by providing reusable, on-brand video assets.
- Ensure video assets are formatted, organized, and delivered in ways that support e-commerce listings, retail presentations, and sales enablement needs.
