Position Summary:
The goal of the Account Executive is to initiate and close new business for Direct Hire and Temporary staffing services, by meeting and exceeding key performance metrics, and managing existing relationships with current clients. You will work directly with executive leadership and play an integral part in generating revenue for the company through existing sales processes and by implementing new creative and innovative sales tactics. The ideal candidate will have experience with high volume outbound call and email outreach and a regimented sales-focused mindset, as well as enthusiasm for what we do and the amazing impact we are able to have with our clients! This position offers a salary of $55,000-$65,000 dependent on experience plus unlimited commissions. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to medical and dental insurance as well as generous PTO.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Promote full-service staffing solutions with a consultative approach to new and existing client relationships
- Identify and cultivate prospective client relationships through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, client drop offs, email marketing campaigns, and networking events
- Respond confidently to objectives and confidently advise clients on industry trends
- Navigate full sales cycle to close new business
- Research decision makers and influencers to target appropriate contacts
- Maintain existing customer relationships
- Conduct research and stay up to date on activity in the Chicago market to pinpoint potential business opportunities
- Initiate and attend promotional drop offs to current and prospective clients, both scheduled and spontaneous drop offs
- Assist with developing new marketing strategies as well as creative ideas for drop-offs
- Attend local networking events promoting our services and build rapport with decision makers and influencers
- Work with internal recruiters and client consultants to understand current candidate pool for skill marketing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably with higher volume smaller revenue transactions
- Proven successful sales track record and stable work history
- Ability to manage relationships with multiple clients
- Desire and confidence to make cold calls, attend networking events, and establish relationships with prospective clients
- Business to business experience
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
- Goal-oriented and high social confidence and drive with strategic insight
