The Role

The  Business Development Representative (BDR)  is responsible for building and qualifying new revenue opportunities for Influenceish.

This role sits at the  front of the sales funnel  and directly impacts company growth. You will identify, engage, qualify, and book high-value opportunities for our sales leadership team.

This is a  base + commission  role — your upside is tied to the revenue you create.

What You’ll Own Prospecting

  • Research and identify high-potential DTC, TikTok Shop, and e-commerce brands
  • Build targeted outbound lists using modern sales tools

Outbound Outreach

  • Engage prospects via cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and social platforms
  • Initiate conversations with founders, CMOs, and growth leaders

Lead Qualification

  • Run initial discovery conversations
  • Qualify prospects based on fit, budget, urgency, and growth potential

Meeting Setting

  • Book high-quality meetings for senior sales leadership and executives
  • Ensure prospects are properly positioned and informed

Discovery & Research

  • Analyze prospects’ ad performance, TikTok presence, and growth opportunities
  • Provide insight that strengthens deal positioning

Sales Support

  • Assist in proposal preparation, pitch materials, and follow-up
  • Coordinate demos, meetings, and next steps

CRM & Sales Operations

  • Track leads, meetings, and deal status in HubSpot (or similar CRM)
  • Maintain accurate notes, pipeline data, and follow-ups

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Hungry, proactive, and competitive
  • Comfortable speaking with founders and senior marketers
  • Organized and strong at follow-up
  • Motivated by commission and performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1.5–2 years experience in sales support, business development, or marketing
  • Experience in  performance marketing, e-commerce, or agencies preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, revenue-driven environment
  • Familiarity with digital advertising, creator marketing, or analytics is a plus

Compensation

Base Pay:  $25–$35 per hour (non-exempt, based on experience)

Plus Commission:

You will earn commission on qualified deals that originate from your outreach and booked meetings.

This is a true base + upside role  — strong performers can materially increase their earnings.

This is an  in-person role  based in our  Oceanside / Vista, California  office.
