Position Summary

The Manager of Marketing, Social Media & Events is responsible for driving brand visibility, revenue support, and guest engagement through integrated marketing initiatives, digital content, social media strategy, and on-property events. This role plays a critical part in positioning the hotel within the local market, strengthening community partnerships, supporting transient and group demand, and delivering memorable brand experiences that align with hotel standards.

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, guest-focused, and results-driven, with a strong understanding of hospitality marketing, storytelling, and experiential programming.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Brand Management

Develop and execute property-level marketing initiatives that align with brand standards, ownership goals, and market conditions

Support hotel revenue strategies through targeted promotions, packages, and seasonal campaigns

Ensure consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms and guest touchpoints

Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Management, Food & Beverage, and Operations to support business objectives

Social Media & Digital Content

Manage and execute the hotel?s social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)

Create, curate, and schedule engaging content including photos, videos, stories, reels, and promotional copy

Monitor social engagement, respond to guest interactions, and manage online reputation in partnership with leadership

Track performance metrics and provide regular reporting on reach, engagement, and campaign effectiveness

Stay current on digital trends and recommend innovative ways to enhance visibility and engagement

Events & Experiential Marketing

Plan, promote, and execute on-property events including community activations, brand partnerships, seasonal programming, and F&B-driven experiences

Serve as the primary marketing liaison for hotel events, ensuring proper promotion, branding, and guest experience execution

Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless event delivery

Support group and catering teams with marketing assets and promotional support for key events

Partnerships & Community Engagement

Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, tourism partners, influencers, and community organizations

Identify partnership opportunities that enhance brand visibility and drive incremental revenue

Represent the hotel at select community and networking events as needed

Administrative & Reporting

Manage marketing calendars, content schedules, and promotional timelines

Assist with budget tracking related to marketing initiatives and events

Maintain organized records of campaigns, assets, and vendor relationships

Prepare periodic performance summaries and recaps for leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field preferred

Minimum 2?4 years of experience in hotel marketing, social media management, or events (hospitality experience strongly preferred)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Experience with social media platforms, content creation tools, and basic analytics

Evening and weekend availability required for events and activations

Salary Range: $68,000 - $74,000 annually
