POSITION PURPOSE
The Marketing Manager partners with the VP of Marketing, Sr. Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to execute marketing strategies and lead campaigns, initiatives, and promotional activities that grow brand awareness and drive business results. This role also provides key administrative support, monitors market trends, and uses insights to identify consumer needs and opportunities. The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, and energized by a fast-paced environment, with a strong passion for restaurant marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS: (NON-EXHAUSTIVE)
Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Partner with the VP of Marketing and cross-functional teams to execute marketing strategies, campaigns, and promotional initiatives that drive guest traffic, sales, and brand awareness.
- Manage the annual and promotional marketing calendar to ensure timely execution across all channels.
Digital Marketing, Online Ordering & Guest Communications
- Execute digital marketing across social media, email, website content, and online advertising.
- Own Online Ordering marketing initiatives and optimize digital guest engagement.
- Manage Third-Party Delivery partner accounts, including promotions, menu accuracy, merchandising, and reporting.
Operations Support & Campaign Execution
- Collaborate with operations and culinary teams to support menu launches, LTOs, and special events.
- Create marketing and training materials to support in-store execution and internal communication.
- Write creative briefs, coordinate asset development (photo/video/print/digital), provide feedback, and proofread all materials for accuracy and brand consistency.
- Cross-train across marketing functions and provide coverage/support as needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Advertising & Performance
- Support advertising planning and monitor campaign performance using KPIs and dashboards.
- Analyze results to optimize promotions and improve marketing effectiveness across channels, including delivery platforms.
Brand, PR, Vendors & Budget Tracking
- Maintain brand standards and consistent messaging across guest-facing and internal communications.
- Support PR and agency partnerships (PR, social, influencers) and coordinate external vendor needs (creative, printing, etc.).
- Track and manage project-level budgets across:
- Advertising Spend (Traditional-print materials and Digital-paid social, influencers, e-commerce)
- Local Store Marketing (sponsorships, donations, community driven events)
KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA or Master’s is a plus
Experience: Several years in entry-to-mid-level marketing roles (e.g., Marketing Assistant, Social media Specialist) preferably in restaurant, hospitality, or retail
- Skills: Strategic Planning & Analysis: Market research, consumer behavior, data interpretation, critical thinking, and project management
- Digital Proficiency: Experience supporting digital marketing, email marketing, promotions, and campaign execution across multiple channels
- Communication: Strong written, verbal, presentation, and professional email etiquette skills; ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present ideas clearly
- Creativity & Leadership: Ability to develop fresh campaigns, drive engagement, and manage people/projects
- Organization: Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Additional Requirements:
- Familiarity with Online Ordering platforms and Third-Party Delivery account management (promotions, merchandising, reporting) preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Comfortable working closely with operations teams and supporting execution at the store level
Position Class, Work Environment & Location:
- Non-Exempt
- Primarily office-based / In-office presence required
- Ability to work non-standard hours as necessary to implement marketing plans.
- You must have reliable transportation for ongoing travel around the DFW metroplex and the ability travel up to 25% of the time, primarily within North America, for meetings and site visits. Occasional overnight travel. Valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance.
