Social Media and Brand Manager

About the Role

Are you a creative, strategic, and culturally plugged-in storyteller? Miko is seeking a Brand Manager to lead our social media strategy and execution across our entire digital ecosystem.

This role sits at the intersection of community engagement, content creation, influencer partnerships, and PR. You will fully own our TikTok presence—ensuring Miko shows up in ways that are bold, trend-driven, and relevant. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role for someone who is equal parts organized strategist and agile creator.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute best-in-class strategies across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Full ownership of TikTok: Manage content planning, publishing, and performance tracking.
  • Capture and create social-first photo/video content aligned with cultural moments.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice while adapting creatively for each platform.

Trendspotting & Ideation

  • Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and internet culture.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for real-time, reactive brand moments.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions for bold, innovative content ideas.

Brand & Influencer Partnerships

  • Lead influencer strategy: sourcing, vetting, and managing high-impact creator partnerships.
  • Build relationships with talent managers and oversee briefs, contracts, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with partner brands to co-create social-first campaigns.

Public Relations

  • Partner with our external PR agency to amplify brand visibility.
  • Support press events, media opportunities, and storytelling initiatives.
  • Coordinate press mailers and editor relationships.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in social media, brand management, or influencer marketing.
  • TikTok Expert: Demonstrated success in growing high-engagement social platforms.
  • Content Creator: Strong skills in filming, editing, and creative direction (on-camera presence is a plus!).
  • Cultural Sponge: Deep understanding of internet culture and platform best practices.
  • Project Manager: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
