This a part time role, with a commitment of no more than 15 hours a week.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Social Media intern to help capture and grow the Flexxd experience online. This isn’t just a posting role. You'll concept, create, and edit content that showcase Flexxd’s brand and partner facilities. You will also manage content end-to-end (from ideation to posting) helping bring Flexxd’s voice to life on social media.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a zero‑to‑one social program for a fit-tech platform.
- Develop and manage Flexxd's social content calendar across Instagram (Instagram, TikTok, etc).
- Create and curate on-brand content — short-form videos, static posts, carousels, and stories.
- Write engaging captions and headlines aligned with Flexxd’s tone: authentic, energetic, and minimal.
- Coordinate shoots, source UGC, and manage post-production edits.
- Track performance metrics, optimize based on engagement insights, and report on results.
- Engage with community comments, DMs, and brand mentions.
- Collaborate with marketing to support campaigns, partnerships, and influencer initiatives.
Experience
- Hands-on experience creating TikToks, Instagram Reels, or UGC-style content (personal or brand).
- You are a creative self‑starter who is interested in taking ownership end‑to‑end (ideation → production → publish → analyze → iterate)
- Have basic experience using GenAI for content brainstorming and creation (e.g., script drafts, voice/visual assets).
- Have basic experience editing videos (e.g. Adobe Premier, Final Cut, or similar).
- Familiarity with editing tools (Figma, InShot, Canva, Adobe Suite, etc).
- Experience managing or contributing to a social media account (brand, school, club, or personal creator page).
- Understanding of how to create scroll-stopping hooks, tell stories, and maintain aesthetic consistency.
- Bonus: Passion with creators, gyms, or fitness brands.

95% Remote (NYC preferred, for on site content. creation)
Pay Range: $17-$21/hr
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
