Job Summary
New Life Solutions, a Christ-centered 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry, seeks a Director of Advancement to lead comprehensive fundraising, donor stewardship, and grant development strategies. Reporting to the President/CEO, this role drives ministry growth through major gifts, planned giving, church partnerships, and data-informed campaigns while embodying donor-centric stewardship as ministry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual fundraising goals across new donor acquisition, monthly giving increases, lapsed donor recapture, and average gift growth.
  • Lead major gifts, planned/legacy giving, capital campaigns, corporate sponsorships, church engagement, events, and grant pursuits.
  • Create donor communication strategies (newsletters, appeals, reports, personalized outreach) and routinely express gratitude.
  • Build authentic relationships with supporters, churches, corporate partners, and influencers in Pinellas/Hillsborough Counties.
  • Manage donor CRM, track KPIs, analyze ROI, oversee advancement budget, and deliver monthly reports to President/CEO.
  • Collaborate with President/CEO on high-level donor meetings, briefings, and strategic cultivation.
  • Supervise Advancement team while embracing core values of Faith, Life, Love, Compassion, Excellence, Integrity, and Unity.

Required Qualifications

  • A love for the Lord, seeking His wisdom and guidance first.
  • Full agreement with the mission and Statement of Faith of New Life Solutions and a consistent life‑affirming position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field (required); Master’s preferred. (Relevant experience will also be considered in place of a degree.)
  • 5+ years progressive nonprofit development experience with proven success in major gifts, campaigns, donor stewardship, and grant writing.
  • Strong leadership skills, financial fluency (budgeting/forecasting), CRM proficiency, and public speaking comfort.
  • Highly organized self-starter with excellent verbal/written communication and local network knowledge.
