Social Media & Email Specialist (Freelance)

Contract: 12 months, potential extension

Schedule: Hybrid onsite as needed; weekend monitoring included.

Hours: Up to 40/week + weekend monitoring

Rate: $35-38/hr.

Local candidates only - Hybrid – Plymouth, MN

Overview:

Seeking a hands-on digital marketer to support social media, email marketing, and community engagement. This role focuses on content creation, campaign execution, and performance optimization across multiple channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multi-platform social content and calendars (IG, FB, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Create copy, light visuals, short-form video, and adapt content by channel.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/DMs, and support partner/influencer outreach.
  • Build and deploy B2C/B2B email campaigns; track metrics and support A/B testing.
  • Provide reporting insights and recommend optimizations.

Qualifications:

  • ~3+ years managing branded social + email campaigns.
  • Experience with at least one ESP (Klaviyo preferred).
  • Strong writing, content creation, and performance-focused mindset.
  • Portfolio or work samples required.
