Job Description

We are seeking an energetic, people-focused Corporate Wellbeing Specialist to support one of our key clients in the Arizona region. This individual will be the onsite champion for employee health and wellbeing across multiple casino locations in the Glendale and Tucson areas. The role combines health advocacy, education, and relationship management, and is ideal for someone passionate about promoting employee wellness and engagement in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

Schedule: 32 hours per week; Work conducted during standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend availability for site visits

Location : Arizona (Phoenix/Glendale Region or Tucson Region)

Travel : Approximately 75% remote; up to 25% onsite required at client locations in Glendale, Tucson, and Sahuarita

Essential Functions And Primary Duties

  • Serve as the primary wellbeing resource for multiple casino properties, fostering engagement and supporting a culture of health and wellbeing.
  • Plan, design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive corporate health promotion programs aligned with the client’s benefits and wellbeing strategies.
  • Conduct onsite wellbeing activities and educational sessions; provide one-on-one consultations to improve employee understanding of benefits and health resources.
  • Coordinate and deliver onsite events such as biometric screenings, flu shot clinics, and health fairs.
  • Develop and promote challenges and campaigns focused on physical activity, nutrition, stress management, hydration, and preventive care.
  • Facilitate Wellbeing Committee and Wellbeing Champion meetings, encouraging collaboration and participation in wellbeing initiatives.
  • Partner with client HR and benefits teams to identify trends, address employee needs, and recommend targeted wellbeing strategies.
  • Leverage available tools and resources from insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and vendors to integrate programs and enhance participation.
  • Track and report participation metrics, engagement outcomes, and overall program success.
  • Maintain a strong, visible presence at client sites—participating in screenings, lunch-and-learns, and other wellbeing events—to build relationships and trust.
  • Travel between casino locations in Glendale, Tucson, and surrounding areas as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with diverse employee groups.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities across different sites and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in a health-related area such as health education, medical, wellness, or fitness
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience with health promotions and wellness programs
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing programs that match employee needs, lifestyles and interests
  • Experience working in a team environment as a team leader/facilitator/influencer
  • Ability to be a role model/mentor/health coach for health and wellness to others
  • Required competencies include: project management, organization skills, analytic capabilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, articulate presentation skills, and self-motivation
  • Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
