Position Overview:

Big Green Egg seeks a Growth Marketing Manager to drive digital growth, performance marketing, and CRM initiatives that accelerate customer acquisition, retention, and brand engagement. This role will report to the Director of Brand & Digital Growth. He or she will lead the development and execution of data-driven strategies across paid media, lifecycle marketing, and emerging channels, supporting both direct-to-consumer growth and our dealer ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on executor, skilled at leveraging analytics to inform decisions, collaborating across teams, and delivering innovative solutions that fuel business results.

A successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, independently manage projects, or propose creative solutions when opportunities arise.

Scope of Work & Key Responsibilities:

Growth & eCommerce Strategy

  • Develop and execute performance-driven digital strategies to increase sales, brand awareness, and customer engagement.
  • Own the performance marketing funnel,optimizingCAC, ROAS, and LTV.
  • Partner with eCommerce and marketing teams tooptimizewebsite traffic, conversions, and customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with sales and distributor teams to ensure digital efforts support the dealer network.
  • Develop and executestrategy forretail medianetworkfor national partners(Ace Hardware).
  • Develop and execute multi-channel growth strategies across paid media, SEO/SEM, email, SMS, affiliate, and emerging platforms.

Paid Media Strategy

  • Plan, execute, and manage paid media campaigns across channels (social, search, display, video) in partnership with media agency partners.
  • Evaluate paid media campaigns toidentifynew opportunities (channels, audiences, landing page experiences).
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling ad content tailored to target audiences.
  • Monitor campaign performance andprovideactionable insights to improve KPIs.

Email Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Lead thestrategy,development,execution, and optimization of email marketing campaigns. Including content creation, audience segmentation, scheduling, and A/B testing.
  • Design and build email templates that reflect brand standards and drive engagement.
  • Manage email lists, ensure compliance with privacy regulations, andmaintainhigh deliverability rates.
  • Analyze email campaign performance, report on key metrics, and refine strategy based on insights.
  • Collaborate with CRM and creative teams to deliver personalized, automated email journeys that support retention and loyalty initiatives.

Retention / Loyalty Strategy

  • Develop and manage a tiered loyalty and referral program, rewarding customers for purchases,grillownership, and successful referrals.
  • Lead targeted email campaigns to drive program enrollment, tier advancement, and referral participation, using personalized and automated flows.
  • Segment and analyze customer data tooptimizeprogram communications, track engagement, and refine incentives.

Channel Innovation

  • Explore and pilot new growth channels (e.g.,SMS,retail media, influencer performance, shoppable content).
  • Stay ahead of trends inMarTech, AI-driven personalization, and consumer behavior.

Collaboration & Analytics

  • Work cross-functionally withbrand, product, and sales teams to align digital marketing efforts with broader businessobjectives.
  • Use analytics tools tomonitordigital performance and report on campaign effectiveness.Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to track KPIs, campaign performance, and customer behavior.
  • Stay current on digital trends and technologies, applying innovations to Big Green Egg’s strategies.
  • Use A/B testing, cohort analysis, and attribution modeling to inform decisions and iterate quickly.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in growth, performance, or digital marketing, ideally in DTC, CPG, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven success scaling paid media and lifecycle programs.
  • Experience with personalization, segmentation, and customer journey mapping.
  • Passion for food, outdoor living, and community-driven brands is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of paid media platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads),email & SMSmarketingautomationtools(Klaviyo,Marketing Cloud, etc.),and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Proficient in analytics platforms (Google Analytics4, SEM Rush, etc.) and reporting tools (Power BI).
  • Experience managing digital campaigns from strategy to execution, with proven results in driving growth.
