Boutique Assistant Manager (Shopify + Canva + E-Commerce experience)

About Us

Jayden Layne is a size-inclusive women’s boutique blending everyday casual with a western edge. We’re known for great denim, real styling help, and a strong online presence. We’re growing, and we’re looking for an Assistant Manager who can help run both the storefront and the digital side of the business.

This role is ideal for someone who’s organized, creative, tech-savvy, and confident taking initiative.

Position Overview

The Assistant Manager will work closely with the owner to support daily operations, manage Shopify tasks, assist with social media marketing, and help keep the brand consistent both in-store and online.

You do not need to be an influencer — but you do need to understand how social media and e-commerce actually drive sales.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify & E-Commerce

• Manage product uploads, descriptions, pricing, and inventory
• Create and organize collections
• Assist with basic Shopify Flows, tags, and order management

Social Media & Marketing

• Create graphics and content using Canva
• Assist with posting and scheduling on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Help with captions, product tagging, and promotions
• Support launches, drops, and campaigns (email/text coordination is a plus)

Store Operations

• Assist with opening/closing duties
• Help lead sales floor when owner is unavailable
• Provide excellent customer service and styling assistance
• Support inventory receiving, merchandising, and restocks

Administrative & Support Tasks

• Help keep systems organized
• Problem-solve day-to-day operational needs

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Shopify (not just browsing — real backend work)
• Canva proficiency (comfortable creating branded graphics)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented

Preferred (But Not Required)

• Retail or boutique experience
• Email or SMS marketing experience
• Meta ads or basic analytics knowledge
• Interest in fashion, denim, or styling

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 32 per week
