We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Public Relations Specialist to engage with aviation companies and manage the company's external communications. This role involves developing and maintaining positive relationships with investment stakeholders, crafting compelling messages, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across various media channels. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong research abilities, and experience in media relations and social media management. Responsibilities
Cold calling companies in aviation to become affiliates and post on our website as our exclusive members.
- Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies tailored to investor audiences
- Prepare, edit, and distribute press releases, investor updates, and other external communications using AP style guidelines
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to enhance visibility
- Manage social media platforms to promote company initiatives and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform PR campaigns
- Coordinate public speaking engagements, investor meetings, and presentations to effectively communicate company value propositions
- Proofread all external content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency in messaging
- Collaborate with marketing and journalism teams to ensure cohesive branding across all channels
- Monitor media coverage related to the company and prepare reports on PR campaign effectiveness
- Assist in editing content for newsletters, blogs, or other publications aimed at investors
Qualifications
- Proven experience in public relations, journalism, or related fields with a focus on investor relations preferred
- Strong writing skills with proficiency in AP style for professional communication
- Excellent verbal communication skills suitable for public speaking engagements and interviews
- Demonstrated ability in media relations, social media management, and content editing
- Solid research skills to analyze industry data and market trends
- Ability to craft compelling press releases and investor communications that align with corporate messaging standards
- Exceptional proofreading skills ensuring error-free content delivery
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field is preferred
