About This Role
Ikedo is more than a ramen shop — it’s a place built on comfort, craft, and community. We’re looking for a Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to help bring our story to life online, build brand awareness, and support the launch and growth of our second location.
This role is ideal for someone creative, organized, and hands-on who understands how to connect with people through social media, visuals, and local engagement.
What You’ll Do
- Manage Ikedo’s social media presence (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Google Business)
- Create and schedule engaging content (photos, videos, stories, reels)
- Capture in-store content including food, team moments, and guest experiences
- Respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely, on-brand way
- Maintain and update online listings (Google, Yelp, delivery platforms)
- Help promote specials, events, new menu items, and location openings
- Support local marketing efforts (flyers, collaborations, community events)
- Track basic performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Ensure brand voice and visual style are consistent across platforms
Who You Are
- Creative and detail-oriented with a strong sense of brand and storytelling
- Comfortable shooting and editing short-form video on a phone
- Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and basic social media trends
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks independently
- Strong written communication skills
- Reliable, proactive, and collaborative
- Able to work flexible hours to capture content during service or events
Bonus Points For
- Experience marketing restaurants, cafes, or food brands
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
- Experience with influencer outreach or collaborations
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Meta insights, or similar tools
- Knowledge of Japanese food or culture
