Position: Social Media and Content Strategist
Location: Jupiter, FL
Position Summary: The Social Media Specialist will work with leadership and key stakeholders to identify areas of opportunity for marketing promotion via social media channels, primarily Facebook, Instagram, Tik tok, and Twitter. This candidate will be responsible for creative content generation and community management of all social channels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, or equivalent
- 2-3 Years of social media marketing experience
- Direct experience utilizing social media management tools (Sprout, Buffer,Hubspot)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva
- Solid understand of Meta Advertising platform
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
- Optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with organization goals and vision
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Conceptualize and execute creative content, ideas, and experiences across media types and platforms that will make an impact on our customers with an emphasis on storytelling
- Ensure alignment of content strategy with the overall Lessing’s brand
- Manage content strategy and process from concept to completion, including overseeing creative/content development, organizing and tracking assets and timelines
- Work directly with leadership and location managers to ensure proper promotion of venue happenings
- Proactively monitor and track online and social media posts from campaigns, partners, and influencers
- Assist with digital advertising campaigns and promoted posts
- Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Manage database of photo and video content to determine a schedule for content creation
- Understand seasonal changes within our multiple lines of business to promote menu changes and major venue events
- Potential for other assigned duties
- Restaurant/Hospitality experience is a plus
Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel 50% of the time to visit our venues to capture content
- Must have established experience in professional photography and videography, including shooting, lighting, and post-production
- Must have extensive experience in content creation for social media, with the ability to independently ideate, produce, edit, and deliver platform-ready content
- Must be creative and show familiarity with all social media platforms
- Must have a proven track record for social media account engagement and growth
- Must have excellent photography and editing skills
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must be self-driven with an entrepreneurial attitude always looking to be ahead of the competition
- Must have a passion for food and beverage
- Must have impeccable communication and writing skills
