Role Overview

Larger Than Life Management is seeking a part-time, freelance Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist to help improve conversion performance from affiliate links driven by macro-mega influencer social media posts (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, ideal for a CRO practitioner who enjoys testing, analyzing, and making practical improvements to landing pages and purchase flows—without the overhead or expectations of a full-time corporate role.

The focus is narrow and clear: optimize influencer-driven traffic so it converts better.

What You’ll Be Working On

Core Optimization Tasks

    •    Review and improve affiliate landing pages used by influencers

    •    Identify obvious friction points in the checkout and purchase flow

    •    Suggest and help implement simple A/B tests (copy, layout, CTAs, trust signals)

    •    Focus primarily on mobile traffic

Affiliate Funnel Support

    •    Evaluate performance of traffic coming from influencer posts

    •    Help optimize:

    •    Affiliate links and tracking consistency

    •    Page relevance to influencer audiences

    •    Improve conversion rate without increasing influencer spend

Light Analytics & Reporting

    •    Monitor basic KPIs such as:

    •    Conversion rate

    •    Revenue per click

    •    Funnel drop-off points

    •    Provide short, practical insights and recommendations (not long decks)

Collaboration

    •    Work directly with a small team (marketing + influencer ops)

    •    Communicate findings clearly and simply

    •    Make recommendations that can realistically be implemented with limited resources

What This Role Is Not

    •    Not a full-time position

    •    Not a people-management role

    •    Not a heavy data science or enterprise CRO function

    •    Not responsible for influencer recruiting or content creation

This role is about practical conversion improvements, not corporate optimization bureaucracy.

Ideal Background

    •    Some hands-on CRO experience (freelance, agency, or in-house)

    •    Familiarity with affiliate or influencer traffic

    •    Comfort working with small teams and imperfect setups

    •    Understanding of social media–driven consumer behavior

    •    Experience in wellness, fitness, lifestyle, or DTC brands is a plus

Tools (Nice to Have, Not Required)

    •    Google Analytics (or GA4 familiarity)

    •    Basic heatmap or session replay tools

    •    Comfort reviewing landing pages and checkout flows

    •    Ability to suggest copy/layout improvements

Success Looks Like

    •    Measurable lift in conversion rate from influencer traffic

    •    Clear, actionable recommendations delivered consistently

    •    Tests and improvements that are simple, fast, and effective

    •    Strong working relationship with a lean, fast-moving team
