Role Description

We’re seeking a Founding Account Executive to join one of our fast-growing AI-powered SaaS clients in the eCommerce technology space. This is an early-stage, high-impact sales role where you’ll own the entire sales cycle — from prospecting and outreach to closing and onboarding.

As the first AE on the team, you’ll help define sales strategy, implement scalable processes, and build a revenue engine from the ground up. You’ll be working closely with the founding team to refine go-to-market motions and create repeatable systems for growth.

  • Own the full sales cycle: outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, demos, closing, and onboarding.
  • Build and manage pipeline through outbound, inbound, partnerships, and events.
  • Leverage AI tools to optimize outreach, sequencing, and lead generation.
  • Collaborate with founders and leadership to tighten feedback loops between product, growth, and customer success.
  • Develop the foundation for future sales processes, playbooks, and team structure.
  • Drive revenue while maintaining strong relationships with business owners and eCommerce decision-makers.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a strategic closer who thrives in fast-moving, early-stage environments:

  • 3–5 years of full-cycle sales experience at an early or growth-stage B2B SaaS or eCommerce startup.
  • Proven ability to exceed quotas and close deals in the $5K–$25K+ range.
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce, Shopify, or social commerce ecosystems (TikTok Shop, Instagram Shopping, Amazon, etc.).
  • Experience building and managing relationships with brand founders and marketing leaders.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and AI-driven sales automation tools.
  • Builder’s mindset – comfortable creating systems, refining GTM processes, and iterating quickly.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Excited to work in a collaborative, high-growth environment.

  • Have experience with affiliate, influencer, or creator marketing.
  • Bring an existing network of eCommerce or SaaS contacts.
  • Have worked in or closely with AI B2B startups.
