The Social Media Coordinator with a specialty in Community Management will play a key role in engaging and growing our social communities across all brands. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply immersed in online culture, knows the comment section can be just as important as the content, and enjoys bringing creativity and humor to digital spaces.
Position Overview:
The Social Media Coordinator / Community Management Specialist will focus on fostering genuine, two-way engagement across Naturepedic’s social channels while supporting the Social Media Specialist in day-to-day scheduling, posting, and campaign execution. This individual will serve as the voice of our brands within the online community – interacting with followers, spotting cultural trends, and surfacing creative opportunities for storytelling.
The ideal candidate is chronically online (in the best way), quick-witted, and highly attuned to digital culture. They love connecting with people, thrive in a fast-paced creative environment, and aren’t afraid to hop on camera for a trend or reel when it fits the moment.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Management & Engagement
- Act as the voice of Naturepedic and its family of brands across social platforms, responding to comments, DMs, tags, and mentions in an engaging, authentic, and brand-aligned tone.
- Foster community connections and encourage organic conversations that build loyalty and advocacy.
- Interact regularly with influencer and affiliate content – liking, commenting, sharing, and amplifying posts to nurture those partnerships and maintain strong brand relationships.
- Monitor sentiment and identify recurring questions, feedback, or opportunities to enhance community experience.
- Engage with relevant creators, brands, and advocates to strengthen community relationships and awareness.

Trend Spotting & Creative Ideation
- Stay up-to-date on trending formats, viral sounds, and social conversation topics – and proactively pitch ideas that fit Naturepedic’s brand personality.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and Specialist to translate trends into on-brand content opportunities.
- Occasionally appear on camera for reels, TikToks, or behind-the-scenes moments with the social team to bring the community closer to our brand story.

Content & Scheduling Support
- Support the Social Media Specialist with scheduling and publishing content across multiple platforms.
- Assist in organizing and managing content calendars to ensure timely posting and alignment with broader campaign goals.
- Contribute to caption writing, post setup, and light asset preparation when needed.

Community Insights & Reporting
- Provide feedback from community interactions that can inform marketing, product, or advocacy initiatives.
- Support the social media team with monthly analytics summaries and performance highlights, including community management wins and learnings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with customer service, influencer, advocacy, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on messaging, FAQs, and escalation processes.
- Collaborate with the creative and brand teams to maintain a consistent voice and look across all social touchpoints.

Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in social media coordination, community management, or digital marketing.
- Deep understanding of major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit, Pinterest, YouTube) and online culture.
- Excellent written communication skills with a strong sense of humor and timing.
- Comfortable appearing on camera and creating short-form content as needed.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask across multiple brands.
- Strong awareness of current social media trends, memes, and platform updates.
- Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, etc).
- Passion for sustainability, wellness, or eco-friendly living is a plus – and enthusiasm for connecting people through meaningful online conversations.

Starting salary will be between $50-$55k per year
