Your Leadership* Responsible for assisting in communications, social media and reputation management, media relations, community relations and internal communications, in conjunction with corporate directives.

  • Assisting property team members with day-to-day communication and social media tasks and coordinating projects and activities as requested for Montage and Pendry Hotels & Resorts and Montage and Pendry Residences.
  • Daily social media posting, monitoring, and engagement on brand channels across various platforms and oversight management of all Montage and Pendry property social accounts.
  • social media content creation for Montage and Pendry brand channels
  • Monitor social media trends, including developments in design, applications, strategy and innovation to stay relevant and effective
  • Understanding how to leverage social media as a tool to inspire conversion, drive sales, and ignite quality community growth
  • Work collaboratively with Corporate Marketing team and assist on photoshoots to maintain social media assets
  • Assist in managing social media paid agency, paid social strategy and creative assets
  • Assist in PR Agency management and participation in calls with agencies and properties
  • Maintain and build relationships with select tastemakers, influencers, content creator’s traditional media, among others.
  • Creative thinker who brings new ideas, opportunities, partnerships and creative ideas to the brands and properties.
  • Reputation management: Monitor property pages on platforms such as Trip Advisor, Yelp, OTAs and Google.
  • Work with Corporate Communications team on company magazine.
  • Collaborate with teams on internal communications and quarterly associate focused communications.
  • Maintain press rooms on the website, press books and additional internal press kit items.

Must Haves* BA/BS in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or Public Relations.

  • 4-7 years in PR/Social/Marketing Position
  • Creative and innovative thinker.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of marketing and communication functions including public relations, social media, paid social strategy.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for positive and effective communication with a diverse population.
  • Commitment to customer service (internal and external).
  • Ability to handle fast-paced environment and multi-task.
  • Knowledge of hospitality/travel industry an advantage.
  • Must be detail-oriented, as well as systematic/organized.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
  • Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions.
  • Works well independently and alongside colleagues.
  • Flexible and able to manage changing priorities.
  • Excellent relationship management abilities; Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working with Associates at all levels of the organization, including senior leaders.
  • Mastery of AP Style.
  • MS Office proficiency, including PowerPoint presentation skills for presentation support.
  • Proficient in Basic Graphic Design (Canva, Cap Cut) and Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Experience with digital asset management systems.
  • Knowledge of MuckRack and/or other major press tracking service, Sprout Social.
  • 10-15% travel may be required.
  • Ability to perform other duties as required

Physical Requirements* Must be able to sit at a desk for up to five (5) hours per day

  • Walking and standing are required, and length of time may vary
  • Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and subordinates; use of these senses will occur on a constant basis
  • Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

The pay scale for this role is from $87,000.00 - $105,000.00. The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
