Job Description Saltbox simplifies the hardest parts of running a small online business. We're looking for a hands-on, data-driven Director of Growth Marketing to lead Saltbox's performance marketing efforts while unlocking new scalable channels for member acquisition and brand awareness. You'll oversee paid media channels (primarily Google and Meta) and manage an agency or contractor, conversion rate optimization for our website and landing pages, own a robust experimentation roadmap, and bring fresh thinking across paid, SEO, lifecycle, referral, outbound, and influencer strategies. You should be AI-enabled and up to speed on the latest in martech.

What You'll Do

• Paid Media Leadership: Own and optimize Saltbox's paid media strategy across Google and Meta. Test into new platforms.
• Conversion Rate Optimization & Website/Landing Page Ownership: Conduct A/B and multivariate testing. Personalize landing experiences.
• Growth Experimentation: Build and lead a structured growth experimentation roadmap across new and existing channels.
• Localized & Community-Aware Marketing: Design geo-targeted growth strategies. Collaborate with field marketing, creative, community marketing and operations leads.
• Analytics & Martech: Own reporting and analysis across all growth channels. Identify and implement marketing tools.
• Leadership & Execution: Lead and mentor a small growth team and agency partners. Work cross-functionally.

What We're Looking For

• 5–8 years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or demand generation
• Proven success managing paid acquisition on Google and Meta and website/landing page optimization.
• Proven success managing or collaborating on lifecycle/email marketing.
• Strong grasp of a growth experimentation framework.
• Fluent in modern martech and AI-enabled tools.
• Strategic thinker and clear communicator.

Base salary range: $150k-$170k.
