Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative College Intern / Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Manage social media accounts using tools like Hootsuite and Buffer, scheduling posts and monitoring engagement.
  • Conduct social listening to track brand mentions, industry trends, and competitor activity using analytics tools like Google Analytics and Web analytics.
  • Create visually appealing graphics and videos utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software.
  • Perform keyword research and SEO optimization to enhance content visibility and reach.
  • Manage online reputation through relationship management with followers, influencers, and partners.
  • Assist in planning and executing Facebook Advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness.
  • Proofread all content for accuracy, branding consistency, and quality before publishing.
  • Support public relations initiatives by drafting press releases and engaging with media outlets.
  • Contribute to e-commerce strategies by creating compelling product descriptions and promotional content.

Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program related to Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a similar field.
  • Prior experience or coursework in social media marketing, digital marketing, or content creation is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing software is desirable.
  • Understanding of SEO principles, Google Analytics, web analytics, keyword research, and Facebook Advertising will be advantageous.
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail for proofreading tasks.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for branding and visual storytelling. This internship provides valuable industry experience while supporting your academic growth in digital marketing strategies.

Pay: $250.00 - $500.00 per week
