Director, Analytics
Edelman is seeking an Director, Marketing Analytics to join our Performance Marketing and Digital team.
We are seeking an analytics leader who is passionate about learning, problem-solving, and leveraging data to re-define how businesses and brands interact with their customers.
This role will oversee a team of analysts and work directly with internal stakeholders to define, build, and execute multi-channel measurement strategies for brand and acquisition programs for global clients.
The ideal candidate should have experience in a cross-functional, collaborative environment and bring a balance of left-brained analytical fact-finding, paired with right-brained intuition and storytelling to service Edelman’s top clients.
Responsibilities of the Director, Analytics
- Own the development of measurement frameworks, learning agendas, data integration and measurement execution across multiple client workstreams.
- Contextualize and apply data to generate a holistic view of the audience and inform the development of programs, content, and experiences.
- Apply knowledge of the client and the digital analytics craft to evaluate new data opportunities in the form of new sources, methodologies, technology partnership, client priorities, etc.
- Foster creative thinking around how to use data and how data can solve business challenges in support of marketing and communication activities
- Collaborate with cross-discipline leads in Paid, Creative, Channel Strategy, Planning, Research and Business Intelligence to guide decision-making with technical and non-technical groups.
- Provide day-to-day management and mentorship to a team of analysts on both short and long-term projects.
Skills and Experience
- Have 6+ years of relevant professional experience working with integrated marketing and comms tactics (earned, owned, influencer, paid) and developing insights.
- Possess a bachelor or graduate degree from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Experienced marketing analytics leader with experience onboarding, and developing talent ideally within an advertising agency, consulting, or other client-services environment.
- Expertise in cross-channel performance analytics with technical knowledge of web analytics, organic social analytics, influencer marketing, paid analytics, campaign lift studies, etc.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple deliverables with various stakeholders.
- An excellent data storyteller and visualizer, with experience in Tableau, Google Data Studios
- Ability to connect data to insights that drive program optimizations
- Understanding of AI landscape and the application of AI into marketing, comms, and measurement-related workstreams is a plus.
$86,000-139,000 a year

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
