Job Description The Position The District Sales Manager will have territory responsibilities for a specific geographic area including selling Overhead Door and Genie products to distributors, dealers and end-users. This position reports to the Western Regional Sales Manager and covers the following territory: Southern ID, UT, Western WY, and Northeastern NV.

Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive territory growth through market penetration, margin management, and new product promotion.
  • Build strong relationships with dealers, builders, and end-users.
  • Prospect and develop new accounts while supporting existing customers.
  • Provide product training and consultative business support.
  • Communicate market insights and opportunities to leadership.

Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering preferred by not required.
  • 2–5 years of experience selling engineered products; proven track record in territory growth.
  • Ability to read construction plans and specifications; understanding of pricing and P&L.
  • Mechanical/technical aptitude and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; capable of short- and long-term planning.
  • Must live in the specified territory and within one hour of a major airport.
  • (Southern Idaho or Utah)
  • Clean driving record and a newer personal vehicle suitable for transporting customers locally.
  • Automobile allowance and mileage compensation provided.
