Social Media Marketing Manager

Everwild

Full-time

Holland, OH, USA

About the job

Everwild is looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager who can own day-to-day execution and strategic growth across multiple client accounts. You’ll build content plans, publish and optimize posts, manage community engagement, and help identify/activate creators and influencers—keeping every channel on-brand, on-schedule, and performance-driven.

Strategy + Planning

  • Develop platform-specific content strategies aligned to each client’s goals, brand voice, and audience
  • Build monthly/quarterly content calendars (themes, pillars, campaigns, launches, seasonal moments)
  • Translate client objectives into clear content briefs for internal creatives and external partners
  • Stay current on platform trends and recommend test-and-learn opportunities (formats, features, timing)

Content Management + Publishing

  • Write/edit captions, headlines, hashtags, and platform-native copy (with strong attention to tone)
  • Schedule, publish, and optimize posts across channels (IG, FB, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts—based on client needs)
  • Coordinate assets, approvals, and versioning to keep work moving smoothly from draft → review → live
  • Ensure accessibility and best practices (alt text, subtitles/captions, link hygiene, UTM tagging when needed)

Community Management

  • Monitor DMs/comments and engage in real time using brand-approved guidelines
  • Escalate customer service issues and manage sensitive conversations with professionalism
  • Maintain community management playbooks (response templates, FAQs, escalation paths, crisis notes)

Reporting + Insights

  • Deliver weekly/monthly reporting with performance insights tied to goals (reach, engagement, CTR, follower growth, saves/shares, video completion, etc.)
  • Identify what’s working, what’s not, and what to do next—turning metrics into clear recommendations
  • Track learnings across accounts and build repeatable best practices

UGC + Creator/Influencer Partnerships

  • Identify UGC worth amplifying (organic posts, customer reviews, fan content) and secure usage rights
  • Source creators/influencers that fit the brand (micro to mid-tier, local/niche as needed)
  • Support outreach, negotiation, and relationship management (rates, deliverables, timelines, approvals)
  • Manage contracts/SOWs (in partnership with leadership/legal) and ensure deliverables are met on time
  • Coordinate whitelisting/usage permissions and paid amplification handoffs when applicable

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with design/video, account leads, and paid media teams to align organic + paid efforts
  • Participate in client meetings: recaps, recommendations, and campaign planning
  • Maintain organized workflows in project management tools and keep stakeholders informed

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years managing social media for brands and/or agencies (multi-client experience a plus)
  • Proven ability to build content calendars and execute consistently across platforms
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and brand-voice skills
  • Comfortable managing community engagement and sensitive issues with good judgment
  • Experience with creator sourcing and managing influencer/UGC workflows (briefs, rates, deliverables)
  • Strong analytical skills—can interpret platform metrics and turn them into action
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to balance multiple priorities

Tools you may use

Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social/Hootsuite/Later, TikTok Business tools, LinkedIn Page tools, Google Workspace, Slack, Asana/Monday/Trello, basic analytics dashboards, URL builders/UTMs, and content libraries/asset management systems.

Bonus points

  • Light photo/video editing experience
  • Basic paid social familiarity (boosting, creator whitelisting, coordination with media buyers)
  • Experience building community guidelines and escalation playbooks
  • Industry experience in consumer products, retail, B2B, nonprofits, or local/community brands (as relevant)

Success in this role looks like

  • Content ships on time with minimal bottlenecks and clear approvals
  • Community response times improve and sentiment stays positive
  • Consistent growth in engagement, saves/shares, and qualified traffic
  • Creator/UGC pipeline becomes repeatable and measurable
  • Reporting is clear, client-friendly, and leads to smarter monthly planning
