Social Media Brand Manager

Urban Landmines is a locally owned pet waste removal and pet sitting company serving the York, Lancaster & Cumberland County communities since 2020. We’re looking for a creative, reliable Social Media & Brand Manager to help strengthen our online presence, build trust with local pet owners, and support steady growth.

This role is focused on brand consistency, community connection, and visibility, not just posting for the sake of posting.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Manage and grow our Facebook and Instagram accounts
• Create and schedule consistent posts (2–4 per week)
• Write captions that reflect our brand voice: professional, friendly, reliable
• Share behind-the-scenes content, team highlights, pets, and services
• Repurpose photos and videos from our team (we provide content)
• Respond to comments and messages or flag them for our team
• Request and highlight Google reviews
• Promote seasonal services, reminders, and promotions
• Ensure branding stays consistent across platforms

What We’re Looking For

• Experience managing social media for a service-based brand
• Strong writing skills and an eye for clean, simple visuals
• Understanding of how social media supports local SEO and trust
• Organized, consistent, and self-directed
• Comfortable working with minimal oversight
• Bonus: experience with pet brands, home services, or local businesses

What This Role Is Not

• Not influencer-focused
• Not heavy video editing or ad management
• Not a full-time marketing position
