Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Social Media & Marketing Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for creating social media sales campaigns and the day-to-day management of the company’s social media and website properties. In this position you will report directly to the Marketing Manager.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a versatile creative writer, and a team player. You will be an active participant in data collection and analyses in order to consistently improve the company’s social media and website practices over time.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
  • Creating and managing equipment listings on website and Facebook marketplace with effective SEO practices.
  • Routine website maintenance, such as updating graphics and descriptions.
  • Managing google business profile.
  • Creating consistent, meaningful organic and paid content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
  • Communicating with social media and marketplace followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence, website and performance.
  • Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
  • Performing other duties as needed, such as assisting with traditional marketing efforts.
  • Assisting I.T Manager with various jobs/ tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 or more years of social media/ web experience including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
  • Experience using various analytics software, search engine optimization and vehicle listing creation.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Graphic Design experience

  • Influencer Marketing experience
  • Strong Camera Prescence
  • Knowledge of our type of power equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22 - $30 per hour depending on experience
