POSITION PURPOSE: The Associate Director, Enrollment Marketing serves as the primary project manager, operational lead, and day-to-day executor for all enrollment marketing initiatives at LIM College. This position transforms strategy into action by overseeing project workflows, coordinating cross-functional partners, managing vendor activity, and ensuring all enrollment marketing projects and campaigns are executed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
In addition to driving project execution, the Associate Director plays a critical support role to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications by managing operational details, timelines, reporting, and vendor processes. This role ensures the smooth functioning of the enrollment marketing ecosystem across channels, teams, and vendor partners.
The Associate Director brings a strong understanding of enrollment marketing tools, techniques, and tactics, with experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating successful marketing initiatives across digital, print, and recruitment channels. The role requires the ability to translate high-level strategic direction into implementable operational plans that inform and engage prospective students and their influencers. Goal- and data-driven, the Associate Director considers audience profiles, market demand, competitive insights, industry trends, and performance analytics to support tactics that generate high-quality leads and contribute to the College’s academic enrollment goals.
SALARY RANGE: $85,000 - $87,000/Annually
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES Project Management & Operations
- Serve as the project manager for all enrollment marketing initiatives, ensuring strategy from the VP is translated into clear plans, timelines, and actionable steps.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the enrollment marketing function, including email calendars, campaign schedules, and task tracking.
- Coordinate across MarComm team members, Admissions, IT, and vendors to move projects forward and resolve workflow blockers.
- Lead or attend project meetings; track action items; ensure deliverables are completed on time.
- Oversee the execution of internal and vendor-led marketing campaigns, including paid media, email/SMS, student search, and event promotion.
- Maintain and refine project management systems and tools.
Vendor Oversight & External Partner Management
- Directly manage relationships with enrollment marketing vendors (paid media and student search)
- Ensure vendor deliverables meet scope, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Review and approve campaign plans, briefs, creative suggestions, reporting dashboards, and optimization recommendations.
- Serve as the VP’s operational proxy with vendors, escalating issues or strategic questions only when necessary.
- Track vendor performance and ensure continuous improvement based on data.
Support Role to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications
- Act as the operational extension of the VP, handling day-to-day execution and project details.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and performance reviews for VP and leadership use.
- Assist with planning, budgeting inputs, and strategic preparation by gathering research, data, and vendor recommendations.
- Carry out special projects or cross-department initiatives as assigned.
- Ensure communication flow between MarComm, Admissions, and vendors remains organized and efficient.
Creative & Copy Support
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team and provide direct support to the Director of Brand & Content Marketing on written content, copy development, creative needs, content calendars, and asset preparation.
- Coordinate with Admissions on messaging alignment, recruitment events, deadlines, and funnel priorities.
- Ensure branding, tone, and messaging remain consistent and aligned with institutional goals.
- Review and proof key deliverables to ensure accuracy and quality before they are sent live.
Reporting, Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Monitor campaign and project performance metrics, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and campaign-specific reporting for the VP, highlighting insights, risks, and optimization opportunities.
- Review enrollment trends, digital engagement data, paid media performance, and funnel analytics in collaboration with vendor partners and Admissions.
- Recommend optimizations to improve lead generation, conversions, and campaign ROI.
Collaboration & Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with internal teams (Admissions, Student Financial Services, IT, Communications, etc.).
- Serve as a central hub for enrollment marketing operations, ensuring communication continuity across teams.
- Participate in recruitment events, marketing committee meetings, and cross-functional task forces.
REQUIREMENTS: The person selected will have the following qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required (degree in marketing, communications, or business preferred)
Required Knowledge:
- Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Slate Technolutions preferred
Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience in enrollment marketing, digital marketing, project management, or related higher-ed marketing roles
Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects or campaigns with multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of enrollment marketing channels, including paid media, student search, and CRM-driven communications
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to interpret data, generate reports, and identify performance insights
- Experience with CRM systems (Slate preferred), email platforms, and digital advertising tools
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
